Already getting tough to find Street Fighter 2 matches on the Switch version.
Just the thought of playing Super Turbo with the Switch joycons is making my hands cramp
I don't have the game, but I'd just use my pro controller.
The Pro d-pad doesn't work though unless you open up the thing with jewelers/precision screwdrivers and tape-mod the contacts, so keep that in mind. It's an easy fix though if you have the tools.
Speaking of d pads, has anyone tried the elite-style controllers for PC or PS4?
I'm looking for something that combines the grip/paddle buttons of the Steam controller with a decent d pad for fighting games.
I'm thinking things like the Razer Raiju, several Scuf pads, and the Xbox elite (though I play on PC at home, I don't know how worthwhile it is for fighters if I can't use it on PS4s at locals).

This is why I use the 8Bitdo SNES30 Pro controller now.

Well I'm excited at the prospect of more DOA. I hope the new characters are good (like Mila and Rig) and not completely awful (like Marie and Honoka).
Also, if Virtua Fighter characters return for DOA6, the possibility of VF6 will be significantly lessened. If they're no VF characters, maybe I'll let myself dare to dream?
Me: Man, Arc Systems has been doing a wonderful job with Dragon Ball Fighterz. I can't imagine what they could possibly do to piss off the community at this point.

The game has enough Gokus and Vegetas... Sheesh. I mean, at least the characters have different move sets, so this isn't lazy but still. There's tons of characters they could pick over another Goku and Vegeta =/
Everyone has a price. Throw enough gold around and someone will risk disintegration.
Soooo, we're still missing a:
- Rock/Astaroth
- Hwang/Yun Seong
- Mina
- Cervantes-type
- Raphael
- Hilda
Maybe a Tira? Meh if she never makes it in, but I think the top 3 of those characters are expected to be revealed before the game launches. The others I'm not so sure about.

I mean, both preferably. I love the style but it wasn't the same with whats his name doing it in SC5.
Same. I forgot about Setsuka. I remember trying to make her be my fallback main if Ivy was in a bad matchup sitch, but she had a lot of technical moves that I couldn't nail 100% of the time, so I gave up on her. I'd be down for seeing someone with her moveset (or just her) returning.
Would give more options to the Create-A-Soul thingie, too.

I hated both of the Greek kids. Pat's unearned confidence and Pyrrha apologizing and crying all the time were too much. And I say that as a Josie main.
Of particular note (in my opinion) is a big SoulCalibur VI exhibition tournament happening Friday night at 8pm. They've got over a hundred people signed up for it, so it'll be good stuff.
Anyway, BLAH BLAH BLAH mainstream fighting game rubbish. Now here's the line-up for AnimEVO where they're playing the REAL SHIT.
Haven't seen the schedule yet, but they've got KOF, Samurai Shodown, TMNT Tournament Fighters and PUYO PUYO TETRIS.
Also, SamSho2 is the definitive version? 3 or 4 was better.
Okay, I can sort of see an argument for 4, but you prefer SS3 over 2?? That is absolutely nutto.
Yeah, SamSho2 has that great classic fighter feel which I think has really stood the test of time. My personal favorite is Samurai Shodown V Special, which is allso getting a tournament.
But man, I just realized... Across all of EVO and AnimeEVO, there's only one Street Fighter, one KOF, one Tekken, etc. etc. ... AND YET there are TWO Samurai Shodowns getting tournaments this weekend.

After school in my area, there was a pizza joint that had a couple of arcade machines, including a 4-in-1 NEOGEO cabinet, and SamSho3 was in that box for a long time until SamSho4 came out. We also constantly pushed them to update the KoF version each year. The other two games were Puzzle De Pon and Windjammers. I never really played SamSho2 much, so 3 just holds a soft spot for me.
Hyped for EVO. I am very into BBtag and soul calibur. BBTag the difference between the styles of the west and the japan is crazy. sadly i think japan got the better meta. so many mind bending mixups with swaps.
SC i am hoping to find a kilik i can emulate.
Sadly when they happen is on friday and I still have work. Did twitch implement playback yet or am I SOL?

I thought it was just going to be like a free trial thing.
I was a huge fan of the series during DoA3 and DoA2 Ultimate. But the last two have just not been that good at all.
They had stopped the support a while ago and that they were moving on to other projects.
I wonder how Ni-Oh sold for Koei.

Hopefully the next DLC characters get revealed this week.

Edit: Updated first video.
Still plenty of time to prepare travel plans.
ArcSys: - Reveals the next DLC characters are Another version of Goku and Vegeta.
Me: Goddammit.
Vegeta and Goku the Dragon in Dragon Ball after all.
I want Dabura. But who cares about this scrub?

I think normal Goku and Vegeta are SUPER popular in Japan.

Setsuka
For mechanical or flavor reasons?

I dunno if she even fits the timeline, but I really hope my main from 4 is in.

And it is a truly awesome moveset. One of the most unique ones to play they ever did. I loved the technical stuff.
