Y'know, I'd be interested in a story where a pre-X-Men Wolverine gets bitten by a werewolf and it turns out that when he turns into a wolf, he mellows out a bunch and is a lot less ferocious and dangerous.

I've always been interested in the idea of a more magical/supernatural version of the X-Men. For like a What If or whatever, but a werewolf version of Wolverine, a demon cursed Cyclops that shoots blazing hellfire from his eyes, a golem version of Colossus, a Mr. Sinister who is actually a vampire.

That was the initial idea behind the original Mutant X series, that's where Bloodstorm comes from. It had a more monstrous Beast (Brute), a demonic Angel (The Fallen) and Madelyne instead of Jean (in her Goblin Queen persona). Iceman was relatively normal (never cured from Loki's curse, so freezing anything he touched, but mostly himself) and regular Havok was the leader. The execution was lacking though even if it had early Tom Raney art.

Texiken's reviews are a treasure because 1) I end up imagining a film where Wolverine and Batman are locked into a magicians' war with the help of the Goblin King and 2) I can never remember actors' names anyway, so it's more helpful to refer to a recognisable role they've played.

She was healed by Quentin Quire in a recent issue of Generation X
