I think Bloodsail is the only one I'm definitely not going to grind, but I also missed out on Shen'dralar, and the old Zandalari Tribes.

Honestly, Defilers and Warsong are the ones I'm dreading the most, but I heard at least the Arathi basin one easier.

Warsong one is super easy during the brawl.

So my old vanilla priest is about 85% toward exalted with the first 3 pvp reps and halfway to exalted with Zandalari. Even if the rep meta achievement was made account bound I don't think I'm even at 50.

I've never liked PvP in this game so the battleground reps are harsh. My understanding is that they take a ridiculously long time to grind out even if PvP is your thing. I think I remember Warsong Gulch being like... 65 rep per game or something back in the day. Maybe it's changed.

Anyone know if reputations still count towards the achievement if you lose rep? I stupidly got all the goblin factions to exalted before Bloodsail. Now I'm worried that if I work on Bloodsail, I'll lose the four Steamwheedle reps.

The Arathi Basin rep used to be horrible. Initially it was 10 rep for every 200 resources gained, meaning you got a max of 100 rep, and that's only if you won. It's been buffed over time, currently it's 50 rep per 100 resources, or 1000 rep per win. The Warsong rep is also apparently easier during the PvP Brawl.

The 'get X reps to exalted' requires they be concurrent, yes. But achievements like Insane in the Membrane don't. You could, concievably, get your goblin reps and ravenholdt to exalted, along with 95 others to get the mount, get the 100 reps achievement, then tank your goblin reps in favor of bloodsail, then get the Insane title once you hit Bloodsail honored.

I dont know about the others, but going from neutral to exalted took me about 70 Alterac Valley games.

The exalted achievements check your current standing, not whether you ever did a rep at some point. So if you start bloodsail yes you will lose credit for your goblin reps.
As javen said, the insane title doesnt care though. So if you get to 100 without bloodsail you can then go do bloodsail to honored and have credit for it and the goblin reps even though your goblins will now be hated.

Oh no, you're forgetting the thing that made AB and WSG rep bareable. The marks of honor. I was exalted with both things before level uh...40? 50? In vanilla as a result.

So I played through all the quests in the first panda zone as horde and got to level 84. How was mists received originally? I really really like it so far.

Mists was great IMO. The only people that really hated it were those that had a philosophical opposition to Pandaren being a thing and said Blizzard was copying Kung Fu Panda movie (even though Brewmaster Pandaren were s thing back in WC3).

Today Zeny funneled me through a series of underground tunnels to get my level 25 monk into Frostfire Ridge so I could level with pet battles without having to fight over the wild pets in Pandaria that EVERYONE ELSE IS FARMING

Thank you Zeny it is a dream come true

I was trying to turn in a quest and got rolled by an alliance jerk. It had been so long I kind of panicked before I remembered the ol’ “click bubble, click hearthstone, extend middle finger” standby

Or the garrison headquarters, where all my pets somehow end up wandering into despite the pet thing being like fifty yards away.

Is the wow legion companion app only for legion stuff or does the app name change based on the latest expansion? Is it useful to get?

It technically still exists on Frostmane, yes.

But since getting ganked isn't a thing anymore unless you want it to be, it's also on Cho'gall

It gets changed, yeah, and it's useful. You unlock a Garrison/Order Hall/War Room that lets you send out followers on missions with timers and the app lets you manage them without having to log into the game

the character just hit 31 so I can't use any garrison things

I finished catching up on all the Legion stuff I missed; I'm a little disappointed that I dipped out so early in 7.1, because it seems like I missed a bunch of fun stuff. Though it was enough to sell me on BfA, even with some misgivings about Blizzard writing Yet Another Faction War.

Just so I can get my Horde Pally up to a Not Atrocious iLvl before the XPAC launches, I'm assuming I should keep putting time into the Darkshore WQs and also maybe turn on War Mode for crates? Is there anything else I should be doing?

Really though there will probably be a questline that gets you to an acceptable gear level immediately when the expansion drops because they have to account for people who are leveling normally. I wouldn’t worry too much about what you “should” be doing at this point. Just do what’s fun.

yeah all the gear stuff right now is just an ultimately pointless exercise in slightly shortening leveling once BFA launches
