Can't confirm the validity of this, but Cracked might still be breathing, just without anybody you give a shit about. Everyone that made the site what it is is now gone.

That seemed pretty abrupt as well. Around that time I stopped keeping up with the podcast (and podcasts in general for a few months) and I'm not sure if it's still the same level of quality.
It would make sense. Wong in particular has done a lot of stuff defending Trump voters and last year they fired Adam Tod Brown who is vehemently anti Trump.
This stings a bit.

I think that's less Jason Pargin being pro Trump (I follow him on social media and he certainly doesn't appear to be so), and more Pargin being from a rural conservative area (grew up with John Cheese) and pushing back against some of the narrative about rural Vs urban and the culture war.
Wong is decidedly not a Trump supporter. I doubt this has anything to do with politics. It has everything to do with money.
