I just got the last achievement in Monster Hunter World for 1000/1000 (Giant Crown Master) that one and Miniature Crown Master currently has a completion rate of 0.07% and 0.08%.

Me: This hacking game is kinda neat, short puzzles and right to the point.

Nier: Let me fix that opinion for you.

must... get to achievement buying shop...

Just let go of worrying about the achievements and enjoy the game. The only few you can't buy are the mandatory endings. Just enjoy the game as much as you can and this point.

I am about 1/3 is the way through MGSV. I have been playing Sekiro when my son is not around and just doing pacifist missions in metal gear. Sekiro is just so damn brutal.

Yeah, I finished the route. My opinion kinda... didn't change about its story.

Apparently I have 59/60 quests cleared, as I got the last % I needed through ending the last battles... but I'm not 100% sure what the second one is though. I never found the house mentioned in route B, so I guess it's tied to that. Though going back to the underground spot I think I just didn't go deep enough... just have to work out the rest of that out. There's a bunch of intel missing too, but I don't think I'm going to try and track that stuff down. Will probably 100% it later tonight.

    ediT: omg this mini-game... .

Bummed you're not enjoying it, I loved Nier so thoroughly. About the most frustrating I ever found it was trying to fish up a weapon for some reason.

I liked the music in Nier: Automata. The gameplay was okay, though it leaned hard into the hacking mini game way too much later on...

The story just leaned way too hard into tragedy porn, and what didn't do that was just... dumb to me. Things going downhill is a given for the franchise, it just tried way too hard or something to get there. IDK. Either way, tonight it gets completed and tossed into the void.

edit: And Nier: Automata is officially over and done with for me~
I briefly felt bad popping Emil after robbing him. So I guess they through a wide enough net of cheap things to grab an emotional response from the player, heh.

Bought the ending achievement and the other ones (kill friendly robots, look up 2B's skirt a bunch of times and play with 9S in his briefs for an hour...)

    On to the next game.

I started Final Fantasy XV on December 26th, 2016.

Today I finally finished everything, 2310/2310.

I'm at 99.99% overall now, all thats left is the Division 2 Title update with the Raid achievement, a raid that they didnt bother balancing for consoles... At least it feels good to get these old games out of my list.

As in you have earned 99.99% of all achievements you can earn from games you have played? Because holy fuck that is impressive. Even if you mercilessly curate which games you play.

    Yeah, pretty much.

I have 35 Xbox One games (and all their DLC) on this account that I've played.

https://www.trueachievements.com/gamer/Sirialis it says 100% already but its not counting the Title update for Division 2 against me yet because it treats it as an unplayed DLC.

Notable standouts are probably XCOM 2 and Sekiro - Shadows Die Twice.

Those 2 games are pretty much balls hard, although very different.

Oh ok, that is a very small list so I can understand that a little better. Yeah Sekiro is hard and I need to get off my ass and finish getting the last few ending trophies I need. So far I have a platinum in every from game released since demon souls and am not about to make an exception here.

Sekiro is the game that people think Dark Souls is.

I am very proud of this! Trials HD/Evolution/Fusion all complete.

Thanks to backwards compatibility, I've been chipping away at Evolution. I played it quite a bit "casually" when it launched, but I didn't get serious about Trials until a few years ago.

That is seriously impressive. I remember reading the trophy guides for those and looking at the estimated skill level and just noping right out.

Playing through The Surge, really enjoying it, planning to get the Platinum... One of the collectible trophies doesn't pop when I pick up the final collectible on the final area of the game. I'm definitely not doing another full play through.

That really sucks. I enjoyed my time getting the platinum trophy but I thought you had to do multiple play throughs? It has been a while since I can't quite remember. I think there are multiple endings maybe.

You can get both ending trophies in one run with a save backup. I was going to have to play through the first third or so again to get one trophy for giving scrap to an NPC, but that's different from a full second play that's also not guaranteed to make this trophy pop anyway.

Right I remember getting that one. I think I didn't save scum the ending trophy since the game is actually pretty short if you know where to go, like most Soulslike games.

I am deeply jealous of you, you Adonis, you Cadillac of Men.

I finally got to Chapter 13 for the first time. Though, in total honesty, I'm still enjoying the game.

Can you still do Mercenaries in Final Fantasy XV or do you need to buy the standalone?

I have earned 4 platinum trophies since the last time I updated here, bringing me up to 90 total and keeping me at 76% complete. I completed all 3 games in the Spyro trilogy and finally sat down and ground out the skill points for Sekiro. All 3 Spyro games are fun and the gameplay holds up, even if the story is pretty weak. Highly recommend. Going to finish metal gear solid 5 and horizon chase turbo next depending on when I can play without my son around.

my last completion is still... NieR: Automata , but I've been all over the place games wise.

Doing Remnant: From the Ashes now. It's an action-survival shooter with procedural levels. Doing the early access, but I may do a thread for it, but then again it's a fairly niche game so I'm thinking a thread about it may be DOA? but who knows. would also add that the game can be very annoying to play solo, particularly the bosses with their extreme add spam.

Whoo, I love Titanfall 2. Heads up, the hardest cheevo in that game is, by a pretty significant margin, the first one in the game, for the tutorial course. If you can do that, you got the 100% in the bag. ;D

So I am almost done with a neat little indie racing game called horizon chase turbo. It was a free game this month or last from ps+. One of the last trophies is to complete an endurance mode where you complete every race in the game in random order. No saving, no changing cars, just 109 races straight through. This is not very hard as the game is not very hard but it is obviously time consuming. I finished race 61 and as it was loading up 62 my game crashed. Not sure if I want to even attempt it now honestly. Just such a massive time sink.

Edit sweet baby Jesus I just decided to load it up on a whim and my save data was corrupted. But wait it loaded a backed up version and it saved my progress! Crisis averted.

My achievement count is over 9000!
    9s6DFnB.jpg

I played through Gears 5 as part of the early launch. Consequently, a bunch of my achievements are bugged out now. Hopefully I can sort that all out by playing through the campaign again.

Since I was in a Gears-y mood I also rushed through Gears 4 again to finish up the collectables and snag a few other achievements on the way.

Just finished off Control. Easiest completion I've had in a while. Like... that game was so easy. I don't know if it was because I hopped into it while playing Remnant: From The Ashes, which I should be able to wrap up easier now with the adventure mode rerolls... but jeez.

There's some timed exclusivity stuff with its DLC, so I don't know if I'm even going to bother with the DLC when it releases. retail completion may be enough. Maybe they'll let you play as Marshall, Jesse was kinda eh.

I finished off Claire Extended Cut a few days ago. 4 hour platinum was nice. I started Amnesia collection, heavy rain, and Darksiders without realizing that I can't play any of them around my son. And now borderlands 3 is out which I still can't play around my son. My completion percentage took a deep dive.
