One fun thing about the 90s is that music videos had insane budgets.

Remember when MJ spent something like $6m on cutting graphics:

The Adventures of Pete and Pete is quite possibly one of the best kid's shows I've ever seen.

Maybe it's the nostalgia talking, but that show just seemed to get it, y'know?

It had a lot of inventive storylines.

The guy what was definitely an alien and the kid that would only throw Rock in rock-paper-scissors are the two that stick out to me.

I think it was a kid who only threw paper!

    His name was Paper Cut.

I had a friend in college who said he ran into the guy who played that character at a party once.
he did not enjoy being called paper cut.

    Edit: damn phone posting.

Knightmare was a weird game show where kids would guide another kid through a dungeon, like LARPing by proxy

Sooty, a puppet bear who had been around since the fifties, went into business with Sooty & Co., although I preferred the eighties stuff

How 2 taught young me a hell of a lot of stuff

Art Attack gave you lots of ideas for projects that mainly seemed to revolve around PVA glue and toilet paper

Oh, maybe? I mainly remember the kids at the end making up attacks for how their hand motions totally break the meta of RPS. And I find it hilarious to this day.

Especially the kid that breaks out the monsoon handsign.

For a teen sitcom, Boy Meets World totally holds up.

Oh God yes. Season 1 is a little rough, with some really good touching scenes in it (Mr. Feeny's story to Cory about his dad was extremely poignant and hinted at a lot of sad stuff without drowning you in it), but from Seasons 2-5 the show is really strong and just gets better. I watched it again a couple of years ago and its really good. Seasons 6 and 7 are fun, but you can tell they're running out of steam by season 7.

On a side note with this, Girl Meets World is a really good sequel series as well.

I wanted to be on Nick Arcade so bad.

I would watch it and yell at the kids on there who had no fucking clue how to play the games.

I wanted to be on Nick Arcade so bad.

I would watch it and yell at the kids on there who had no fucking clue how to play the games.

The thing they didn’t show was how fucked the “final boss levels” were.

It was all done with blue screen and the kids couldn’t see anything directly so they were looking at a TV off to the side like they were the fucking weathermen except they also had to dodge invisible fireballs and shit.

But failing to get like, 20 thousand points in King of the Monsters? Fucking inexcusable.

That's the shit I'm talking about. I'm sure the end level blue screen stuff was hard as hell.

The end bosses were basically “here is a super elaborate pantomime that you have no time to practice also all your friends will be judging you because it looks easy as shit when we play this on TV whoops you got hit by a fireball during this exposition, GAME OVER”

Can someone find that giant bomb segment where they're watching that old Sega promotional video where they're getting all those man-on-the-street reactions? It's the most 90s thing, but I've been unable to find it.

This was technically 80's, but since I was Canadian we got it in the 90's. This forum reminded me it existed a little while back

Wasn't Sony dunking on Sega mic drop style also the 90's?

I’m in the middle of season 2 and I laugh out loud at least once per episode. I completely forgot this show introduced both Ethan Suplee and Adam Scott to the world.

I was born in 84. The 90s were my childhood. My family was poor and rural for most of it, I think we got cable in 97? Most of the shows I remember were awful 80s things, aside from a bit of Nickelodeon
