When a thread ends in mobile, message breaks page

When a thread ends right as I'm composing a post on mobile and I hit send, I get the big long "this thread has been closed" message, and it breaks the page - I can't scroll up the message to close it and save my post; when I scroll it just scrolls the actual thread behind the message. Sometimes hitting the forum button at the top works to get away from the message, sometimes I have to close out the browser page, in both cases if I have written a long post it is lost! There's a lot that's annoying about the way these pop ups work on mobile but this is a thing that genuinely gets in my way with some frequency.
