Lissen up, Phones, 'cause I'm only gonna say this once:
It's The World Ends With you, a spectacular and utterly unique RPG originally released on the DS. Good and unusual gameplay, stellar art, great story, one of the best soundtracks ever featured in a game.
I cannot recommend it highly enough

The only thing in that set of announcements I care about is Donkey Kong but I think it's kind of nice that it's got several games that are exciting to specific niches. If you're gonna drop nothing but port announcements, at least cast a wide net with them.

Hmm, I wonder how controlling Neku and his partners will work this time around. You can see Shiki and Joshua's cards at the bottom of the screen, but also their Pins in the top right like the mobile version.
Also curious about aiming some of the Pins with Joycon controls.
TWEWY is bad and deserves the zero fanfare Nintendo gave this
Enough people like it that this isn't true.
Which is why it sold in abundance and got many sequels
This is the most niche announcement in ages
Pretty bummer Direct, unless Aces has a nice single player mode and isn't barebones like the Wii U Mario Tennis
Yep Call of Duty is the only franchise that deserves any attention because it makes the most money

You could say the same about Skies of Arcadia: both it and TWEWY are cult classics that never got sequels but were ported to other systems (Gamecube, Switch).

but Wario64 has you covered:
DARK SOULS SWITCH HOLY SHIT GOODBYE LIFE
PSN/Steam/NNID: SyphonBlue | BNet: SyphonBlue#1126
this is what direct fans deserved
I can't
To right the countless wrongs of our day, we shine the light of TWEWY so that the Switch may become as paradise. What a wonderful console it would be.
This new scenario can be the engagement ring, please deliver a full sequel as a wedding band
because they are insanely uncomfortable for me to hold =(
alternatively that new scenario better be forty hours long
I said I'd buy a switch for new TWEWY and even though it's just a new scenario and not a full game I'm going to make good on that promise
I understand that the mobile version didn't let you control the partner characters in battle, but that doesn't seem to be the case here.

Cool! I’ll look into it.
honestly truly what I'm excited about with that.
basically if the set-up for TWEWY allowed for social links it’d be my favorite game of all time
Neku gets the True Ending by never establishing a single Social Link/Confidant.
also:
I’m zetta sad now
CREEPER
Is Vow's opinion good?
(Arrow points to no)
That settles it! Reaper Creeper never lies.

super, super excited about Mario Tennis
and hell yeah I'll give Dark Souls another go on Switch
that DK DLC for Mario + Rabbids will probably be great too
overall I'm super happy with that lineup
Never mind this Direct was actually awesome
It's been a while since I've gone from excited to disappointed that quickly
