Diverting diamonds are cool. They’re compact and eliminate most interchange trouble spots with no huge flyover ramps that the alternatives require.
Hard-ish to traverse on foot or bike because the cars come from the wrong place and you have to cross 4 streets instead of 2 but I’d be curious to see one in a very high foot traffic area. I bet people would figure it out pretty fast.
I actually remember that city lab article about the guy going to the intersection and yelling at the sky about it, very silly.

I'm not generally into reaction vids, but classical musicians reacting to K-pop works for me because in between the usual reactions, you suddenly get "Oh, it's a Neapolitan chord progression".

Tl;dr post ww2 when America was occupying japan part of the forced cultural exchange included teaching folk dances and songs, some of which where Hasidic. This created a whole popular movement and the songs ended up eventually in videogames.
There is a good style with the shapes and lines of action, but the high detail does not mesh well with very rapid quick animation. Slowing it down maybe 25% would make that feel much much better
Am I the only one who thought some of the traffic footage looked like a really pretty City Skylines mod or something rather than actual footage?
Interesting video. Also, I checked out his channel and saw that this was the guy whose comment section got confused over "My sister-in-law is getting married"
I was wondering when that news was going to hit here.
Regardless of what happens it will probably be a shitshow. The US justice system has very little understanding that someone can both be a victim and a perpetrator, and thanks to how human psychology works in cult cases a large percentage of the people involved are both, more in need of deprogramming and mental healthcare than prison.

I like how perfectly the eight people reacting encapsulate all the aesthetics you'd expect from a high school band.
My friend is not so much a person. He's more of a trickster imp-like thing, similar to Rumplestilskin. I name him Grundleforeskin.
What a throwback
that song's been described as the raddest ska opening song to an anime that never was
edit: yeah it's the song from this tumblr post
Wow this sent me down my own research rabbit hole:
