Fast Way To Switch Bluetooth Device?

Hi HA,

I recently purchased a fancy set of bluetooth headphones that I love. I have them connected to my home pc, my work pc, and my phone. Is there a fast way to switch between phone and pc connection? I find it annoying that I have to disconnect the headphones in iPhone settings then reconnect them for the pc.

Thanks,

FCC

In my limited experience with Bluetooth, things designed for easy switching can actually pair to multiple things at once and then it has a toggle to switch between which pair is active. Beyond that, I'm less certain on options, if you just switch off the phone Bluetooth entirely instead of going into options, does that free up the headphones to pair on the computer?

Maybe look for a way to disconnect from the headphones. I used to get annoyed when my wife's phone was connected to the bluetooth speaker and I had to go find the phone to disconnect. Then I realized a long press of the play button would cause it to disconnect. This isn't really "fast", but it is faster.

I didn’t think to check that. Thanks!

Just be aware that doing it this way is usually (sometimes?) making the device forget the phone. So when you try and use that speaker with the disconnected phone again, you will have to go through the pairing process again instead of it automatically connecting.

That has not been my experience at all.
