I'm happy. I'm trying to save gems as often as possible. Don't really care about meta so I only pull on who I like. Plus I have WoL MLB'd so he gets me through all coop content safely.

5 pulls and 50 tickets got me one 35CP (Tidus dupe, but it was 0LB so still desired) and like...9 15CP. 2 Balthier guns, a few Tidus's who was already MLBd and so many Eikos that hers is now MLBd with dupes to spare.

So when's Eiko 35CP coming back?

Did one pull last night and got Tidus 15 and 35 cp. 15 was a dupe, but hey, closer to mlb'ing it. Also burned 20 tickets and got nothing. Trying to decide if I want to pull any more or hold off and save gems. I already have a single copy of Eiko's 15 cp from her event.

I had gone hard on the Lightning banner and got enough to MLB both her weapons along with MLB Paplymo's 15 cp and get a copy of his 35. So I've got plenty of power for now... Will probably hold off for a character I really want.

Been working through the new Lost Chapters, filling up my gems for one more shot at Eiko's 35. As I've been pulling on that banner, I've accumulated enough Balthier relics to have both his 15 and 35 be one dupe away from maxing out, so that's amusing.

I've also pulled enough dupe Tidus stuff that, with the weekly stones, I've been able to work up Papalymo's relics. I just MLB'd his 15 and will sell it off to add another rank to his 35. He's getting pretty stronk for me now, which is great.

I forgot about gems from ranking up, and I haven't ranked up in a while, so I'm grinding up a couple thousand bringing newer characters up in level. I'm 195 and there are people on my friends list at 250, so that's quite a few thousand available!

Haven't logged in since Friday, just too much work even getting the daily mission gems since the update to Bluestacks. Maybe at some point I'll be back when I get a new device and can actually play the game. Probably just as well, trying to stay active in two games at once pretty well scuppered my ability to spend time on anything else.

~20 or so Rank Ups, plus all of Tidus LC Hard Mode (including barely getting a full clear on the final stage) got me over 5k gems again. This'll probably be the last pull on this banner, so it really needs to deliver.

Vanille Lost Chapter FINALLY complete, Hope/Vanille/Eiko, 21k, 152 turns. I hope there's never a fight that's that anal retentive again.

Smashed through the Eiko/Tidus/Balthier LC missions, including the extended score missions. I actually just barely got the Tidus ones (14088), but the other two were lol no contest. As is to be expected with my haul from this banner.

So, Aerith event drops tonight, and from what I'm reading, it's a horrible banner to draw on for a couple of reasons:

1. Steiner and Shadow are the other characters on the banner, and neither of them are very good. Steiner can do some good damage, but his max BRV is too low to really take advantage of that.
2. Aerith on JP release was garbage, even with her weapons. There was a buff much later that brought her up to decent and her future awakening is amazing, but that is still a ways away. Global has gotten some character buffs much earlier, such as Papalymo, but we don't know that will happen here.

With bluffs, Aerith might be worth pulling for, without buffs, she's a bad character. I'll probably pass on this banner altogether except for some tickets. Made out okay on the Ashe banner with 2 of her 35 cp weapon and 1 15 cp. Along with a double MLB'ed Lightning I'm doing fine for now. I also have a copy of Eiko's 15 cp if I want to use her.

Haven't had much luck with the Ashe banner. Got Ashe's 35, but still no dice with any of Vaan's weapons (I still just have a no LB Vaan's 15, which I think was one of my first 10+1 rolls from joining the game. ). Gonna keep trying on Ashe's, because like Xerink said, the Aerith banner does not look good.

Well, looks like Aerith did arrive with her buffs, so she is much better than she was at JP release. This means she actually makes a decent BRV battery for us.

I like the longer format of this Aerith event, and the MP is interesting to build teams for. I want to bring my Faris to wipe all his buffs, but I don't have her weapons or armor MLB'd so it feels like she hits too weak. Tidus' debuffs are good, but full-dispel is better.

I've gotten real lucky on the Ashe/Vaan banner; an 11 pull got me his 35 CP, and all the recent tickets have gotten me two more copies of it. I already have 2x of his 15 CP, so I'm reasonably close to having a killer DPS friend unit, heh.

@silence1186 can you change up the thread title again please? Ashe, Aerith and the World of Artifacts are the current ongoing stuff.

Ugh, the Ashe banner hates me, or at least, I'm probably not on its Christmas card mailing list. Got enough gems to do another 11 pull and got...another Penelo 15 dagger. So between 11 pulls and tickets, my haul on this banner has been 1 Ashe 35, 1 Ashe 15, 1 Penelo 35, and 3 Penelo 15s. Ugh...I like the Ashe weapons, but ugh, I wanted this banner to help me improve my Vaan!

Well, after that post I did actually end up with 3 Ashe 15s over all, and I just threw the 4 LB orbs at Ashe's 15 and then MLB'ed it. So now I have Ashe's 35 (no limit breaks) and Ashe's 15 MLB'ed. I'm kinda liking her, though I don't know if she really fills a good niche right now for anything. I'm using her, Vaan, and Papalymo to easily farm the lvl 6 Alexander level since its weak to holy (and fire for Papa). Heaven's wrath is kinda crazy on the last boss. Buffed, Ashe does something like 10k brave damage with Wrath.

Looking up Auron's abilities, it looks a little weird. His first ability reduces Initial Brave? I'm not really up on some of the mechanics in this game. What does Initial Brave do for enemies?

INT Brave works for enemies the same way it does for your characters: it's the brave value they regen to after being broken or dealing an HP attack. What this means is that Auron can crunch that value down, making so that enemies cannot pool brave before being broken again. The real power from the ability comes from having his 15 CP weapon, though; he debuffs max brave too.

I think everything I've read about Auron says that his real power is in his second ability rebuffing melee resistance. It's a unique debuff to him, but is also not guaranteed.

I'm considering pulling on the banner, but I also know Garnet is around the corner and next week we should be getting the next story chapter. Chapter 9 will be giving us Edward, Serah, and Irvine. Note that Edward and Serah come with new weapon types of spear and bow.

Another note is we are supposed to be getting some special summer banners, but it's unknown what will be on them or when they will drop.

Thanks Xerink. I've always kinda ignored INT Brave as a stat, since I usually just stat atk/max brave/specific character ability bonuses. I've never really knew what it did (except I knew it was the brave you started out with).

I was thinking similar to you about Auron, I saw that on the dissidiadb site, that it looks like Garnet actually came out before Auron, but either way, I kinda like both characters (though maybe Garnet gets a bump just because I liked 9 more than 10 overall). But also Edward is in that category as well. I figure I probably should choose 1 to go after, but then also I'm a pretty big fan of Celes, and she's next in line after that group, so I'm pretty conflicted.

In general, INT BRV is a niche stat. Some characters use it for BRV gain (I think Aerith is that way?) but most characters don't really care.

Also, I said Edward but meant Edgar (FFVI). Sorry about that.

I've been real lazy about doing the Aerith MP. Feels like I skip maybe one of every four or so. Might be it coincides with when there's a summon WoI going on, haha.

Auron sounds kind of cool but I've already got great debuffers. Maybe I should save for the summer stuff?

I did a 5k and got Vincent's 15 and Auron's 35, and now I am kind of wondering if I should do another and see about getting his 15? Might just throw tickets at it and save the gems.

I threw 15 tickets at the Auron banner and got... Vaan's (?!) 15 cp weapon. This is after only getting one Vaan 15 after throwing 15k gems and ~40 tickets at Ashe's banner (with Vaan on it).

So at least now I have MLB'ed Vaan's 15 (don't have his 35 though). I'm currently sitting on 10k gems, but I don't know if I want to go in on Auron or not. I imagine a lineup like Auron (for his melee debuff), Lightning, and Zidane (I have both of those MLB'ed) would be pretty good, but I'm hesitant. Vincent seems good, but while I like Cyan, I've been very underwhelmed by him (in particular, his max brave seems super low).

I love Auron, but my understanding is that he isn't a great character. Unless he's your favorite of all time, it might be better to save the gems.

Auron's another one of those characters that gets a ton better when his EX comes out, but this is DFFOO, almost anybody is viable for almost anything.

I did throw the second 5k at his banner and got another copy of his 35cp. Out of gems again, but we get a new Chapter soon and those are always good for income.

I dropped 23 tickets on the banner, got 2 copies of Cyan's 15cp weapon and an off-banner Onion 15cp. Holding onto my gems for Garnet and Celes who should be the next events.

In other news, maintenance has been announced for Wednesday so we are very likely getting Chapter 9 that day. I'm not sure if the banner will feature all 3 of the characters' 35cp weapon. I guess we'll find out.

I got 3 copies of Cyan's 15 as a side effect of whatever banner he was on (Lightning's maybe?). I kinda want to just merge them to free up some inventory, but then I wonder if I'll ever really use him or should I orb them (same with Penelo) to help with more useful characters.
