5 mana 5/8
Muck Hunter
Neutral Epic
Rush
Battlecry: Summon 2 2/1 Mucks for your opponent
2 mana 1/3
Fluffy Wasp (name translated)
Warrior Rare
Rush
Has +3 attack when damaged.
Beast
if only there was some sort of keyword for the second one
It should be noted that these cards are probably fan made translations of the non-English reveals. You can tell by the “M” in the lower left corner spilling into the attack value area. With luck, that means the are rewording the downside of the battlecry.

The new-old draft system was crazy, I had a string of like six straight epic picks. Two Crushing Walls, two Cubes, two Abominable Bowmen, and I think another one or two I don't remember thrown in for good measure. Only legendary was Highmane.
I see.
So what you're saying is I'm Pepe Le Pew, playing this fucking stinky-ass Cube Hunter thing over here, on my 12th or 13th iteration of it, trying to make it win more than 60% at my rank (13), and here I see this other skunk, but you're not a skunk. You're not playing Cube Hunter.
You just played Arena and got some paint on your tail.

Sad days.
I'm not opposed to cube hunter, but I'm a bit jaded on the idea after all my failures with Huhuran Hunter. Maybe I'll give it a try with Cubes added in to give the Princess one last go before rotation.

Sorry, I was just joshing. I don't actually expect anyone to play Cube Hunter. I've been trying for months and while it's been a fun project and I have had success with it, it hasn't gotten me to Rank 10 or higher.
I don't even post it here anymore because I just don't trust it that much and I don't want people to spend dust to make it.
I am very interested in the Witchwood cards I've seen thus far, because that deathrattle taunt tree and the Hunter Leggo have some promise in my deck.

I think you're correct because this is what's on Hearthpwn:
Yeah, that original was definitely a "fan translation". Blizzard are pretty consistent in putting quantities in the word form of the number and reserving numbers for stat references (cost, attack, health, damage amounts).
just out here trying to give you the LATEST INFORMATION gosh

Oh, Muck Hunter could totally be a Control Mage card, thinking about it. Being able to wipe a 5 health thing off the board and leave a sizeable body is very powerful (a-la Doomguard), you can mitigate the downside with your hero power, and the downside becomes upside after playing Frostlich.

On top of that, it just feels lazy. Defile was only two expansions ago. What role does “defile with a body” serve in terms of building new and interesting deck types?
I think redundant cards are fine, in fact I expect or even want it in certain situations, but this is way too similar to an existing card in the same standard set that was release only 8 months ago.

If you feel like Warlock needs a card like "Defile" then you have to print a card like Defile in every year. In the same way that Priest gets a new "big AoE" every year (Lightbomb, Excavated Evil, Dragonfire Potion, Psychic Scream).

the counters to board wipes in all card games is recognizing that they might happen and the risk/reward evaluation you make as a result of committing minions to the board
cuz remember, you might be thinking "oh what's the counter to lord godfrey" but lord godfrey is already the counter to something which itself is the counter to something which itself ad infinitum
How's everyone getting on with the packs for quests?
I've scored a Kobolds, KFT and Witchwood pack thus far. Obviously most excited about the witchwood pack because I've already got what I need from the other sets (in theory anyway, barring any massive meta shifts)
Nah, it's not about if Godfrey has or doesn't have a "counter".
It is the fact they printed a card that looks like paladins can use to protect themselves against AoE clears. Except with duskbreaker, Primal drake and now Godfrey, it doesn't actually protect you against AoE clears.
On top of that, it just feels lazy. Defile was only two expansions ago. What role does “defile with a body” serve in terms of building new and interesting deck types?
Godfrey's super strong, but it does NOT synergize with Cubelock - you'll most likely bust up all of your own late-game taunts if you use it - so I think Blizzard's aim with it is actually to encourage non-Cubelock Warlock diversity.
Now, will it work? I dunno. It's gonna take a lot to unseat Cubelock from the throne. I hope it happens, but it's not going to happen with new Warlock cards. Gonna take something like, uh...
Baby Black Knight
3 Mana 2/4 Legendary
Silence an enemy. Then, if it had Taunt before being silenced, destroy it. (Not a real card reveal)
MMM, THIS BABY WOULD FEAST ON THOSE 3/9s (and prevent 3 Voidwalkers). AND Obsidian Statues, too! And Arthas! Man, now I want this card.
Card art would obviously be two nervous Goblins, one hushing the other by putting his index finger up to his own mouth, while a baby Black Knight sleeps in a bassinette. Probably, the angle would be from the baby's POV, looking up.
When dropped, the card would make a cute snoring sound, like a cartoony snore-wheeze inhale-exhale. When attacking, it would play @MNC Dover's kid (so, a baby voice) imitating the "WHHAHHH" voice from "WHHAHHH, LEEEGGENDARY!!" card opening. When it died, it would obviously make some sort of single-syllable crying whimper.
My gut reaction is that Lord Godfrey is going to win the set's award of "Most playable card for a deck that didn't need to get better", unless something nuts is printed for aggro pally or tempo mage.
Tempo mage is losing a lot of core cards though. Every deck runs crystal runner & valet, most run kabal lackey, and most will have some combination of firelands portal, potion of polymorph & ice block. That's half the secret cheat cards, all the secret-based tempo cards and a card that is burn and tempo and value. The only remaining secret interactions are kirin tor mage and arcanologist
Tempo mage, whether or not it is secret based, will exist in some form as long as Aluneth exists
i agree but i think it'll be a much, much weaker deck unless witchwoods provides a bunch of real busted stuff for mage
This is what I was saying. Half the of the time you won't even see aluneth before turn 10-12 and mage is losing its best tempo cards. It's not a deck that doesn't need new cards, secret based or not doesn't matter really but if it's not secret based upwards of half the deck needs replacing
Prior to Explosive Runes and Aluneth tempo mage was a deck that transitioned into big cards like Lich King protected by Secretkeepers, and that was respectable. It'll be fine.

I’m obviously not comparing the minion, just the weapons.

GG Blizzard. Printing an AOE protection card and making it useless in the same set.

Fuckin' what are you doing, Blizzard??
That doesn't mean it's good or that combo is good, I just have really weird wants.
Literally this:
Well, that one is a little closer to Leeroy, all things considered.
White Knight should have first strike and protection from black.

A warlock can't clear the board if you never put down any minions.
