anyway he's been making stuff through the player studio in planetside 2 for a while, and now it seems he's semi-officially hired, he's been making a big new series of guns and they look soooo good. Shit, he's behind pretty much everything that actually looks good in planetside 2.
he's also a million times better at the TR/NC/VS style differences than the idiot who originally made stuff
the SMG came first, and now the machinegun, which I just unlocked. Gonna have to start saving Certs for the upcoming guns because I am deffo going to have the whole series.
More games need customizable guns.
I love customizable guns. Shit is so much fun. When it has an impact on visuals and the actual abilities of the gun.
I'll take modular gun porn loot part assembly over a parade of minor upgrade weapons thrown away one after another any day

Yess. I love getting a gun I like and then just getting new parts for it. Way better than just tossing the old gun a replacing it wholesale.

like, yes I want to put a 1x red dot scope on my bolt action rifle. Fuck you, I know it's stupid, let me. Also, yes I put the 12x scope on the shotgun on purpose.
Battlefield Bad Company let me do that and I loved it. Sometimes I just want to try a really dumb weapon, okay?

Last night I lost a really nice run using only artillery mechs because I forgot that my rocket guy poops out a cloud directly behind him and he gassed my final mech who I had cleverly moved into place to push every attacking bug to death

See, in the Dust your map stops working - you don't see your position or your waypoint. You only see them if you're on roads, and apparently that's story-gated too - I ran so far away from what I had safely explored that not even staying on roads showed me my position.
Then I found myself in weird ruins I had never seen before and wondered where the fuck I was.

I need to move my mom to an assisted living home and it has to happen immediately so instead of flying home from Columbus tonight I’m flying to Vegas so I can be there tomorrow. Then I have to take a red eye back so o can go home for four hours and pack and then take another red eye to Tel Aviv.
