Damnit, people. In the Movie thread we're only supposed to be 80% as obsessively anal about these things as the Star Wars thread.

Ah, it stinks, it sucks, it's anthropologically unjust

They're not all the same though! A Warlock is a spellcaster whose power derives from a pact made with a more powerful being, a Witch is a spellcaster whose power flows naturally from an existing source in the world, and a Wizard is a spellcaster who has learned to serve as their own power source for spellcasting through study and training.

    Watched Thor Ragnarok

Where's my Korg spinoff series at

I saw this last night and it was great. It renewed my interest in Marvel after being kinda Luke warm on Civil War, GotG2 and Dr Strange.

Saw Free Fire today. The concept worked surprisingly well, the confines it placed on everything, on cast, location, action. Very impressed that they managed to pull it off as well as they did.

Also Armie Hammer continues to crush it. Though I've always been a sucker for the "only pro in the room" bit.

I bought Thor: Ragnarok on Bluray, just to be able to see the movie again

Then I looked through the extras, and I started the movie with Audio Commentary from Taiki Waititi, and before I knew it, it was half an hour later, because the commentary is totally and utterly bonkers.

    Some examples:
    - That is Matt Damon, who you know from We Bought A Zoo
    - Here we have Keith Urban, the country singer
    - He should have used the Vespa from his stuff instead of running all the way over the Bifrost Bridge
    - And here comes my favorite character and actress, Cate Winslet

So enjoy the audio commentary, because it’s certainly worth it

Saw Tomb Raider because I have movie pass so I don't have to worry as much about spending money on bad movies

It was pretty bad, but at least reasonably fun I guess?

Also Vikander puts in more effort than the movie probably deserved

Walk Hard is a work of art, I cannot believe I went more than a decade without seeing it.

I guess I never realized until this moment just how easy it is to accidentally cut someone in half.

I should have spent more time playing catch with you instead of preparing my body and mind to kill you in a machete fight.
