Destiny Fun Police put out a video about the loadout he's going to use post-patch and he said that a dev told him that slug shotguns are going to get 6 shots per power ammo brick, not the usual 4, and DEAR GOD I HOPE THAT'S TRUE.
Also, I am very much looking forward to getting purple from all of the sword dorks I punch to death because fuck those guys.

The lack of special weapons is just another thing that makes Destiny 2 boring to me, I loved shotgunning with Found Verdict all the time.

Yeah. When replaying/grinding a strike for unique gear, it was often fun to go all-shotguns. Also, fusion rifles being the best shield-popper was fun. I miss caring about what weapons I had in my loadout.
6v6 IB means the potential return of the 7th column. Saladin's a lot more low key than Shaxx is, I hope they let the voice actor bring it for the 7th column lines.
The assumption is that the damage increase applies to PvP; that's why the precision multiplier for 360 pulse rifles was lowered, base damage and rate of fire went up, they must have found them a little too strong (and wouldn't that have been a meta shift).
Oh hey, the lore on the starter class items isn't classified anymore. Last time I'd checked they'd been classified and I'd been worried I wouldn't be able to easily see them again since I dismantled mine.

Usually job specs are always a massive crock of shit, but I'll give Bungie credit on this one because they nailed it. It's definitely rare to find somebody who is excited to play through D2's endgame content.
It seems like they're focusing on shoring up the endgame, which is a great goal. I do wonder if they should focus as much or more on getting people interested in the endgame in the first place. Just from my small sample size of friends, that was the major hurdle.

In Halo 5, with the bumper jumper control layout, the A button is sprint. In Destiny, with the bumper jumper control layout, the A button is super. This has been causing less problems than you'd think, but more than you'd hope.
