I felt kind of bad fighting them as stun resist 3 is like my baseline. They tried so hard. Also that fence that you can bring up in the middle of the arena is ... uh... interesting. Can you take it down? I saw a switch and I hit it and it took forever to fall on its own.
Is it safe to assume that all zones have 4 campsites?

I started my dooting adventure last night, having to hunt some normal paolumu for some bits, now I need HR shamos parts so I can finally get started on the bagel horn.
I'm having fun farming the Dodongo/Mick Jagras/Girros Event for decos. You get 3-5 per go. I've gotten a couple of level 2s, mostly level 1s, but it's fun, and lucrative with Bandit Mantle x3. Also my wife has like no decos, so it's a great way to get her some.
Nice to see a few others doing lower-than-Tempered quests last night. We slowbies are still out there, come join us if you're a fellow slowbie! (Y'all fastbies are welcome too.)

The key to getting what would be most useful to you is to release all desire for anything specific and to accept what is given. Only then will the Desire Sensor smile on you and grant you that which you would seek, had you been seeking.
I just love this game and this community. I want there to be the best experience possible for as many of us to play together, with as little hassle, as possible.

The key to getting what would be most useful to you is to release all desire for anything specific and to accept what is given. Only then will the Desire Sensor smile on you and grant you that which you would seek, had you been seeking.
This is true! I've been grinding for a Mighty Bow deco with no luck, but ended up with a Weakness Exploit deco when I least expected it!
So I had an idea for a build, need to grind a bunch for it, but it seems pretty fun.
So get myself a paralysis charge blade. Max out artillery and the paralysis chance skill. Go for the stun into SAED play.
This is actually really fun
I had a basic version of this by using Girros Strongarm and also putting paralysis on my Palico. It worked really well and I can only imagine how awesome it would be with skills to pump up paralysis.
I need decos. Played offline last night because I had not enough time to do system update.
As a side note, does ps4 save summing for first Wyverian ritual still work? My game forces save immediately.
to do decor sniping you need Ps+ (for online save backup) and to be able to go online (latest ps4 firmware)
you basically backup save, do as many tier 3 rng meld as you can, document your results. if you see a crit boost gem, on the 60th meld (or any other desirable decor), roll back the save, then do quests to manipulate which decor "slot" you are on
helps when you have 50+ tier 3 meldings stones and alot of resources

I think you can do this without PS Plus by simply offloading the save onto a USB drive. I back up my save regularly onto a USB drive. It's just not nearly as convenient as doing it with PS Plus (which is in the Options menu, very top of the list).
I'm looking at the barroth hammer, damage a little lower than Diablos, better affinity, better gem slots, and better sharpness, more augments, and a pretty good hidden paralysis
How is Diablos considered the better option

A "little lower"? That's a 30 true damage difference (Diablos does 15% more damage than the Barroth hammer), that's pretty substantial.

I will never get a hero's stone for the insect glaive when I get to that point. Never.
