The Patience(you regen armor in cover) / +regen builds are pretty dope on challenging.
You are not invincible.... but its just enough of a buffer to get you through most scrapes.
my guild cache rolled 260+
Div scratches something primal within me. I can roam around and do stuff or even 1 v all in the darkzone, or group up too. all of it makes me happy.

So they adjusted scaling again..massively?
I was helping someone do the strongholds to move into World Tiers and we did Roosevelt and Arena in like...10 or 15 minutes. everything was just falling over dead and the spawn waves were almost non existent.
Yeah, I did the first two hunters last night and they were cake walks. Weird. I'll need a group for the four hunter spawn though.
And three days ago I did a WT3 solo, or tried to and got my shit pushed in. Then last night I tried one and it was a breeze? Weird. My build was basically the same.
But I've got crap all for good talents on armor. It's all 20% skill duration. Or 20% health. Like, I'm only seeing the same four talents on rotation after 40 or so armor drops. Weird.
My wife and I just found something weird - a yellow MP7 dropped for her, and she asked if I wanted it and read off the stats to me: 2.5k damage, ~700RPM, etc... so I say yes and she shares it. When I pick it up, it's suddenly a 1.5k damage weapon - kinda useless. I trade it back to her and it's 2.5k again. There don't seem to be any abilities on it that would change based on character, and we're the same level... anyone know what gives?
Damage boosting skills she has and you don’t?
Yeah, that's gotta be it. Is there a way to show the unmodified values for a weapon? Makes it had to compare between us otherwise.
Is she a Demolitionist with lots of points in SMG ?
We don't have specializations yet, but her gear had some weapon damage and +SMG. I didn't realize that weapons were showing their modified stats.
Started working on hunters yesterday. I've decided only two things matter for those fights:
1) Can they close to melee range? If so, they win.
2) Do I have GL ammo? If so, I win.
the pool one took me a few tries, on the third try I had them out on the street and they were wiping out NPCs (They are hostile to all factions)
The ones that summon boss level assault drones can eat a dick

Yeah the worst part about the 4 man fight is that one of them constantly spawns a buzzing attack drone that by itself can wipe you out.

urgh level 3+ control points can do one
what's the point of having npcs with you if they can't defend a flank, get you killed to a taser baton and then finish the defence while you are running back so lol no loot for you

There are certain points I just won't do or factions. Like honesty outcasts in some areas are fucking awful with their fire throwing downy bullshit.
And some points like Haunted house are just a huge fuck you.

So... is there really a "Southwest" neighborhood/section in the southeast part of DC?
It's called the Southwest Waterfront and if you look at an actual map that includes all of DC it's not as east as we are left to believe.
Edit:It's part of the larger "Southwest Washington" that includes a large chunk of the Potomac.
Edit 2: All of Eastern DC and Southeastern DC isn't available in game as of now so that fucks with your perspective.

Also note that the strongholds have a gateway gearscore, but you don't have to anything but have it equipped as you enter the mission, after that you can wear any old stuff if it has better talents, or gets a set bonus that you like etc
There's really no reason to sweat over farming your "perfect" gear until WT5 drops next Friday. Keep particular pieces you might want to salvage talents off of later, but otherwise just equip whatever's highest.
well now i realize the hunters don't really drop anything but the masks. i feel kinda dumb for purposefully leaving them to solo in wt4+ so that i'd get better drops.
also, seeker cluster mine! i had a +2 mines mod and couldn't figure out what it actually does. then i heard about that bug, but it seems to be the same thing (even though someone said they are getting the bug without mods). you can drop the mine then keep hitting the action button to send out more waves of mines as they split. at least 3 waves of mines causes a lot of havoc and damage even in wt4 stuff. if i could actually get some skill power to use more mods (why are they all like 7k+ plus wtf?), i could see this being good all the time.
I have a daily quest to donate Gila Guard gear, and I have like, 4 in my inventory but it does not seem to think any of them are eligible.
I guess I didn't want all this printer filament or whatever this unmarked SHD supplies thing is

Hello, let me tell you a story.
There was was an innocent group of agents on their way to the Arena.
The most innocent of them all asked another, "Hey, man can you answer that radio for me? Thanks!"
He then said, "Oh no, now my phone is ringing in the other room, can you answer that as well? Thanks!"
Smoke filled the air, their watches flickered off
The innocent one grinned
Screams
then silence.
Bless your heart.

I thought I might have “all” of the normal vanity drops but it seems like one of the patches may be the reason.
I started to get mods at lvl 12 for skills but they require skill power 350 and such. My highest is like...120.
What give
Their numbers are pretty much unhittable when you start getting them. I've just recently started being able to use those perks on the various system slots on skill themselves and protocol mods in armor now that I'm in the lower 20s and can find purple and yellow armors that give 80-150 per piece to skill power.
Once you get to 300+ skill power turret/seeker/drone can start hitting reds and purples like trucks. Heavy weapon and tank yellows can still one shot them if they can close, but anything short of those and they can lock down an alley/quad of a given arena fairly effectively.

So i understand there's a massive PA Clan. How do I get in on all the clan goodies. I just started playing, hit 8th? plowing along. I hear there's no slots left :bigfrown: but that can't be true right?
Skills in general are just in a bad place right now. Many have cool downs that are way, way too long to use reliably. Many have targeting issues that are just prohibitively awkward to use (at least on console). A ton of mods and buffs apparently just don't work right now. And most importantly, there's no way to scale skill damage to a degree that keeps pace with weapon builds, so that even if you build everything for skills, you're going to be miles behind a comparable crit or DTE build.
The game has a ton of little quirky bugs to get ironed out, but I think that skills as a whole are the biggest issue that currently effects a huge swath of game play.
I have a heard from a friend that skill power doesn't affect damage at all, just what mods you can equip.
Also yes targeting things like seeker mine and bomber drone can be real finicky. The targeting thing seems to randomly reset. I had several battles last night where I'd attempted to send my seeker out and it ended up following me the whole time instead.

Huh, apparently the project is bugged for everyone. Looks like it might actually be wanting Grupo Sombra gear going the flavor text on the project, which nobody seems to have.

yeah I just abandoned it and it gave me one to make 2 pairs of gloves and kill a couple of hyenas, much better

I'm unsure on this myself. Last night I tried seizing multiple control points of the same faction, with and without a beefy skill score and it was hard to determine if my turret damage falloff was a lack of skill power score or the couple of perks off the mods.
Course I'd also been up for like 20 hours and work 12 hours, my theorycrafting probably wasn't on point

Skill power doesn't effect your skills, only what mods you can use on them. This is for consistency/balance reasons.
It is believed that benefits are gained from from mods applied regardless of your current skill power.

Definitely isn't the case with mods that add extra charges - so I assume it would mean the rest of the mods aren't active as well.
I think that was just misconstrued information that got spread based around the fact that you can equip any mod even if it doesn't work for you at the current time.

Its up to you, world tiers make them more fluid, but if your getting bored of doing them in general go ahead and move forward.

Raising gear score. Like try and keep the best version of something, but you'll be in each tier very short time as long as you up your gear score.
