I also let them know that the timing of the announcement for the Friends Points moogle campaign was not ideal. I promise they didn't do it on purpose! You might see more about this in the news as well.
I can't share anything more than that, but just know that the devs are making a real effort here based on how the community is responding. We're supposed to be celebrating 30 million downloads after all.

I'm assuming the limitations are related to the original message around some countries that couldn't participate but maybe it's something else. Hopefully we'll see something like double fp or something to help with the FP moogle campaign.
I think people misread the terms and conditions as meaning only those countries could participate, when really it meant the T&C only applied in those countries.

Oh I didn't realize the 3* gave a nice Ice Katana. That'll go well with my full ice team when I get around to building it (Fry, Fry, Christine, Christine, WKN). I could even swap Tidus/Randi for a Fry/Christine and give them the Ice Katana to take advantage of the ice imperil.
Not to get your hopes up, but not a one of those three can use katanas without something like Jiraiya's TMR. I think. I actually don't know if his TMR lets a unit equip katanas and dual-wield them, or just works to allow people who can already use katanas dual-wield them.
Anyway, Randi or Tidus would be better suited to equip that.
Or do what I'm doing and hold on to one for Daddy Raegan and give him a fire sword to make him laugh in CGLassworm's face.

Welp, finished up the new chapter content and most of the story event for another 5k pull. Nothing. That's 25k total spent plus 20 tickets. I really hope they end up adding the step up banners sooner rather than pointlessly waiting another seven months or whatever for the 2nd GL anniversary. That's a game feature that would absolutely entice more people to spend money on lapis as opposed to today when there's no way I'd even consider it for these rates.
I had a non-multiple of 10 in normal tickets, so I decided I would spend only those on the banner because I wanted an Erwin for ice katana. If I got a rainbow, it'd be a happy surprise.
I was working on a budget of four tickets total. I mean, good odds for Erwin, and that was about all I was expecting.
Ticket 1: Shadow. Yup. Let's start out with those good pulls.
Ticket 2: Basch.
Ticket 3: Erwin.
Ticket 4: Shantotto.
Wait, ticket 2. BASCH? You mean I have a magic tank now?!
This is the first time I'm happy to not pull the on-banner rainbow. I have two Ayakas, so I don't need CGFina, and I honestly don't care for Kunshira other than being a slightly powercreeped version of Onion Knight with different elements. I reeeally needed a magic tank, and now with enhanced WKN and Basch, I can do some of those disgusting trials that have eluded me!

Also obtained Queen #2 as mentioned earlier, and Eiko from a 10+1 (who technically stole the show as my first 5* base healer).
64 tickets left to decide whether I want to see if I can't nab another one, or lock behind a vault with a sign that reads: Do Not Open Until Nier Returns

I finished it last night. Really glad for a nice, happy conclusion. I needed that after the Sakura story event.
So, I went back and ran through Bahamut's Realm to get a couple more Rat Tails. Dragon Killer+ get! I forgot how annoying that whole place is with the stupid high encounter rates and preemptive strikes. Never again.

I think with my strikeout on the IWD mage banner, I'm back to fully saving for Valkyrie Profile. The only thing that might change my mind is a Chrono Trigger collab.

I have 3 SPR pots to go to max her out, so that should be 950. 1000+ SPR feels like I'd need to replace Arsha's Talisman and the Great Raven's Cape with a pair of +30% SPR accessories, and I think at that point I'd be wanting the HP and camoflauge instead.
Incidentally, I'm at +245% SPR right now, which is just funny.

I'm liking the silly amulet from the Tomb Raider event. Lets Xon just be a completely self contained stealing unit while the rest of the party does their stuff, since it lets him just replenish his own mana without having to worry about any no items limitations.
So... After pulling prompto with a daily and going hard on the TR banner looking for another source of TDH, I now try AGAIN to get a 5 star healer (I have tried drawing an Ayaka several times without much success):
10k pull, 10+1 ticket, a couple of regular ones and pulled CG FINA!
Also pulled another zidane, so another DW, so all is good.
Now I just need a 5 star tank and chainer. Haha.

What's your failure point? That team should be doing pretty well, the only thing you seem to be missing is a source of on demand damage mitigation. Are your tanks dying and then damage is just getting through to everyone else?

What's your failure point? That team should be doing pretty well, the only thing you seem to be missing is a source of on demand damage mitigation. Are your tanks dying and then damage is just getting through to everyone else?
I make it to phase 2 and never recover after the reraise. Most of my team dies twice on the transition.

Do you have a Genji Shield and Safety Bit equipped to Tank and Healer respectively so neither of them are killed and can continue doing their things as usual (ie- the tank covering the now buffless party)?
I had more trouble with Sheraton than bloody moon. Part one is not bad, but getting the right units in the right position for phase 2 is the tough part.

I have two Pods as well as Christine and TT. That make things easier at all?
2 pods help, especially if you can perfect chain them. It's been awhile but I think the main thing was having re-raise on everyone, surviving the cut over (had DV boost dark resist), then breaking everything and doing the pod chain plus finisher to wipe the fruit. Sheraton will hit her thresholds and hit like a truck but with re-raise, your units will come back and hopefully you can get off a HE chain or some high chain with finisher to kill her.
I don't think I used T.Terra as it was before Christine was released. Rikku was used a lot to get that DM up and elemental resist (should be even better with her enhanced turn). WKN had a couple MP refresh items on to help with MP drain. TGCid and DV where the main units I used.
Just my guess but with magic tanks out now and meta creep, she shouldn't be too bad.
Me against the first miniboss: "Okay, let's not use any expensive abilities, gotta conserve MP, there's four nodes to go and the normal enemies don't even scratch WoL".
Miniboss: "Lol" /barely scratches WoL's HP, sets the MP of four of my characters to zero.
Me: "...well, that was a poor decision"
I am really happy with this 30 million moogle thing, because now I have a 90% moogle and just need 6% more for Blossom Sage Sakura's 40%, then I might try and get me a Letters And Arms

Save for Seph EASY.
Fina's gonna always be in the pool, and is probably going to be on those special Anniversary banners.
Worst case scenario just grab it with the eventual choose your own 5* ticket during that same anniversary.
