    I bought vermintide 2 just now

    it's... it's slightly boring but I don't know exactly why. I just don't get fired up about it, which I mostly notice by how much less talkative I am when playing it compared to other games. Maybe it's because there's not all that many interesting gameplay choices. Kill the stuff, keep killing the stuff.

    but not like, one dad, it's equal parts the musical tastes of a Dad who likes Dad Rock, and the musical tastes of a Dad who likes classical music and especially interesting, avant-garde classical music of the kind that I frequently find just shit (sometimes pretty cool but like, there's some awful concerts we sat through because dad thought the chance of it being really interesting weighed up for the chance of it being "musicians make annoying noises with instruments they think are special")
