Val Kilmer is all the best parts of Tombstone. This is despite them throwing a bucket of water on him every scene.
Kurt Russels NOOOoOOoOoooOoo! Is the dumbest part.
That movie does not hold up at all.
Tombstone is an amazing movie about Kilmer's attempt to keep tuberculosis at bay via murder. It ends in a heartbreaking twist when he finds himself out of people to shoot and then dies.

Well if we are going to be hurtful....
Yeah I disagree so hard. Tombstone holds up, the only problem is if you look into the actual history well it doesn't at all. Like Holiday the person was actually a rather terrible shot, a horrifying thing to learn as an adult.
I would like some money because these are artisanal nuggets of wisdom philistine.

The best part is the laughing at seeing his feet is a comment either cut from the movie, or just something based in history. But why he laughs is that he was told because of his lifestyle he'd die with his boots on.

Is RPO plot points still spoilers territory? Or are we past the statute of limitations on it?
i would think with the movie coming out it resets the clock for a bit
Roger that.
Spoilers on RPO
On thing I don't see mentioned at all but I would love to see in the movie is where he has to re enact the entirety of War Games as Matthew Broderick's character. I know they probably couldn't use that particular movie, but that would be a great scene if they used movie magic to make it spot on.

He has to be the best at 80s bar trivia and everyone has VR but their avatars aren't pornographic Luigis and bad memes so suspension of disbelief is out the window

I had no idea Robin Williams was considered for Riddler in Forever. At once I both want to know how that would have turned out but also think Carrey was probably a better fit.

I thought it was a quirky montage where Val Kilmer tries on lots of silly wigs
The Saint has one of my favourite scenes when Elizabeth Shue pulls her formulae papers out of her bra and Kilmer says, "You keep them in your underwear?"
"Yes."
"What else do you have in there?"
"...nothing."
"That's not true."

Some of the screenshots of VR chats that people have posted to make the argument that RPO avatars are too pro and chaste haunt me
Wait like they want the avatars to be more sexual looking? Or what do you mean by pro
Like, the avatars that people use for VR are more -- not necessarily sexualized although that too -- but more visually aggressive in specifically internetty ways
I saw a post making jokes about this and the example was bar style chat room with a body made of piles of limp Knuckles the Hedgehogs and it was like

No, this is incorrect.

Mid/Late 40's.
Bitcoining.
Every single last one of them.
here and there and everywhere.
It's terrible yo. Just godawful and no weight to any of it. It feels like a cheap 80s-90s fantasy film.
i don't want to taint the results
i have a great respect for science

Iron Man is still one of the best of the MCU, and Incredible Hulk is much better than it's oft-forgotten status indicates.
(I wonder if I can power through enough to actually add in the MCU TV series.....)
Talking about pole and taint in here.
but they're listening to every word I say
The part with the statues is still awesome. Catlady tits!

I did the marathon in the theater for the first Avengers movie with all the stage one films.
Incredible Hulk is great and probably tied with Thor for my favorite of the stage one movies.
Having seen some cheap 1980's fantasy films, it does not feel like one.

No it used the expensive pre cg stop motion of the original star wars movies.... which made the rancor dragon so awesome.
Also Madmartigan was awesome with a solid character arc.
The turn of Sorsha.
So many great moments.
Yeah, it had it's cheese bits. But the overall package was great. Especially when you look at the lack of big budget fantasy at the time.
