    Yeah I saw it had a decent viewer count but such a small in person crowd was surprising

    luckily there's cross up protection and an auto correcting, invincible-from-frame-1 reflect

    Blocking in dbfz isnt nearly as terrifying as blocking in marvel, but you have to be ready to block for a really really long time

    true pushblocking in marvel caused pretty variable gaps in pressure

    true chickenblocking also mitigated high/lows to some extent

    in dbfz it feels much more like a test of patience, don't get antsy and get counterhit trying to push buttons before they mess up or run out of assists/meter

    also much wonkier hit/hurtbox interactions in marvel

    patience will simultaneous win you games and get you killed, it's interesting

    I haven’t picked up DBFZ (never got into anime fighters), but those finals have got me hovering the purchase button on the Xbox live store (or maybe Steam would have the larger player base?).

    I was on the edge of my seat for a game I know next to nothing about, and I don’t think that’s happened in a long time.

    this was the moment that the crowd at GICC went from "hype" to "just fucking screaming"

    Final Round was a blast, my first major and definitely not my last. I went 2-2 in DBFZ and 0-2 in Tekken, which is about what I expected from both, got to meet a ton of cool folks, and got to see the SonicFox vs. GO1 saga firsthand, which was unforgettable

    Long story short I'll almost certainly be at CEO this year

    VT2 Rashid does craaaazy damage

    Like the on reaction VT2 activation to punish ex boom, and you get 350 damage off of 1 bar, and then oki afterwards.
