Arin (as Chained Kong): "I'm a new Kong. I have been unchained. Now I can live the life I've always wanted to live. Oops! The infrastructure of the place where I live doesn't support somebody who's just got unchained. Now I have to resort to crime and I become chained again. What a vicious cycle that will never end."
Dan: "Wow. Damn, dude. Extremely impressive. Your biting social commentary is next level."
So I was looking on the trivia page for Super Mario RPG on TVTropes and discovered links to the character designer's Twitter. Apparently Geno was originally going to look very different and fight with a sword.

Dunno how many people keep up with Ross, but he has been doing these session in a game called Gartic phone. It is designed to have a series of people either do a picture based on a description (much like our forums do yearly I think) or just do an animation with each person doing one frame based on just the last frame.
Anyway he decided to do one with some really good artists he knows and actually coordinate the whole thing. Based on the Fusion Dance from DBZ and picking two characters. It uhhh, turned out amazing.
It is super long but the animation reveals start around 21:50
I feel like they purposely made the "LAST TIME ON GAME GRUMPS" voice louder than anything else in the video. It's especially weird because Arin is really good at levels but that voice clip they used is at least 100% louder than anything else. I turned my speakers all the way down and I could still hear it.
I'm also avoiding all playthroughs with it on it because it's so obnoxious.
It hasn't been mentioned here yet, but It Takes Two has returned! With luck they'll actually finish it too; they've had a good finishing games track record lately.
Oh hey, it's taken over three and half years, but we appear to be nearing the end of the Prilosec era. Been some interesting, occasionally rough, times.
You know what? Nanowrimo's cancelled on account of the world is stupid.

Some of these Dan gan rope pa 2 characters look a LOT like DGRP 1 characters

There was something about that I’m on Observation Duty game that really got under my skin.
When the intruder jumped at the camera and vibrated it was objectively silly, but it still sent actual chills down my arms.
Hearing Ross doing game grumps shows is such a nostalgic shot to the heart. Like you can tell they are genuinely enjoying it.
Dan and Ross should go through Deltarune Chapter 2 together real quick for old times sake.
Yeah it's nice to hear them chat about life. I also really enjoy watching Ross play a game. I had to unsub from his channel because most of his stuff was drawing and stuff. Which I know he enjoys and is incredibly talented at but it's not my bag.
I would be happy about the Grumps playing Danganronpa 2, but ProZD and Jay just finished a full playthrough of the game, like, three days ago. Maybe I'll go back through and marathon it later, though.
Oh shit, they're doing Danganronpa 2 already? I figured they'd wait a bit longer on that.
Arin: "Whenever Hope's Peak Academy is mentioned, it's only a matter of time before someone says..."
Dan: "GET ME OUT OF HERE!"
I can't wait until they get to the batshit craziness of Danganronpa V3.
There's a third?? Ugh, mannn...
I get the feeling that the creators of the Dangranronpa series wanted to continue the story of the original characters but were pressured into replicating the premise of the first game in 2 and V3, which led to them rebelling in V3 a bit by revealing at the end of the game that
Major Spoilers for V3
in the world of V3 the events of the other Danganronpa games didn't happen and that they were only games in-universe. However, the series got so popular that it got endless sequels and eventually a reality TV show where people have their brains messed-with to make them into stereotypical Danganronpa characters with no memory of the real world. The surviving cast members of Danganronpa 53 (which is what V3 stands for, V being the Roman numeral) discover this and vow to end Danganronpa for good by making the most unsatisfying ending ever, but an audience participation android that had been there the whole time gets hijacked by angry Danganronpa fans. The climactic event is the protagonist essentially having to fend off the equivalent of pissed-off nerds in a YouTube comment section personified by an android.
I honestly cannot wait to witness Arin and Dan's reactions to this.
Dan: "I am the Ultimate Vampire Karate Master. My name is Bruce Draculee."
EDIT: OMG, Gundham Tanaka is the greatest fictional character ever.

I am having trouble believing that this is the same Byakuya as the first game.

I guess we'll find out what happened to him between games at some point, but he's got the exact same voice, attitude and animations as the "old" Byakuya.
Prediction; Bruce Draculee's supposed ability to speak with animals is going to come up later when one of his hamsters has to provide testimony for a case.

Not yet, they did pay him for several of them and even worked out this copyright thing 2 years ago.
Youtube is just shit and Google/Alphabet are terrible fucking companies.

He's also posted other fascinating concept art for the game in the last few years, like this:
…oh no, those poor Pokémon.

Dan: [accidentally curses in the first minute] Oh whoops my bad
Arin: no it’s ok we can say “shit” and “bitch” now
A: yeah
(Laughter ensues)
Well, that's... huh.
Their KH3 episode was very good.
The Skyward Sword one about killed me
that happened

It was a great series. I'm glad they came back to it with a guest. The one that started charging at them from the backyard screwed me up too.
