Though I didn't really watch the Backgammon and Chess and crap (those episodes are always just meh to me)
I enjoyed the backgammon and chess episodes. But then, I'm one of those fans that always roots for Dan, so I'm biased towards ones with games he's more confident with

Chess is fun if only because of how worked up Arinngets at it. But I would like to see them return to some older series, like finishing It Takes Two, Chrono Trigger, or Mario Odyssey. Or they could do the second chapter of Deltarune.
You know what? Nanowrimo's cancelled on account of the world is stupid.
Went ahead and bought Observation Duty 1 - 4 since they were on Steam for $15. Wife and I are currently trying 1 and it's really hard lol
Honestly the key to those games are just playing over and over. Eventually you'll see enough of them that you remember exactly what to look for and you kind of get the hang of it They become so much easier once you have a good idea where the majority of anomalies are going to show up rather than "I have to scan the entire room"

Yeah the first run we found exactly 0 lol. Sometimes it's all about figuring out what they want as a report. There was one that looked like a white circle in the bathroom. We did light anomoly, ghost, other... turns out it's an extra object. Didn't make any sense.
e: There was one in the living room where there was a guy standing at the window... Ghost, intruder, extra object... all nothing. Still no idea.
But the intruder on the couch that jumps at you literally made me jump out of my skin lol

Yeah, I've noticed watching other people play that "extra object" is going to be the answer for the majority of things that are added. Extra Object, Object Movement, Object Disappearance seem to by far be the most common.
Also the living room one, the problem was probably that the location was actually "Outside" - they love to throw crap like that in :P
I was surprised at how close Arin came to winning today. Longest chess game they’ve had yet. Though Dan had to keep pushing him to take his turn. If you’re there for the chess game freakouts, you’ll be disappointed, but the episode was good, in my opinion.
God I finally got a chance to watch that Bad Ben one last night. Holy crap was that funny. Every game really does need a swear button :P
I was dying while watching that. Felt like Arin Hanson: The Game. I swear if they didn’t show the actor in live footage, I would have thought it was Arin cursing since he makes that voice constantly on the show.

Oh my God
Dan decides to lose an auction to “choke out” the AI player by making them low on cash.
He loses the auction for less than a hundred dollars. This puts the AI in single digits.
…but the property was worth $160 when auctioned.
Math, my old nemesis, has returned.

Oh wonderful, the almighty ALGORITHM has obviously seen that I'm watching the Grump's Danganronpa videos and has decided to start suggesting clips from the anime... with spoilers in the title. Like "SPOILERS ~ <Character>'s death scene!" well I sure am glad you put SPOILER right there in the title, would have hated for you to have ruined anything.
I hope one day the Grumpy boys find themselves a platform that isn't beholden to a constantly shifting algorithm that determines whether their videos are successful or not.

This is why I hate Youtube and also people who put spoilers in titles/thumbnails. This happens a lot with new games where I'll see thumbnails with like, the last boss fight in the thumbnail or something really spoilery like that (and like, maybe a day or two after release, not like a month later even)
On the plus side, if they are showing you specifically the anime they can only spoil Danganronpa 1. There is no anime for 2 and the Danganronpa 3 anime is something totally different (which is why the game is called v3 instead of 3)

To be fair, it was right there in the title. :-p

I don’t understand what Monomi’s deal is
She is either in on whatever is happening or there is something we are missing out on (like the twist in game 1 where the kids all voluntarily had their memories erased).

Game Grumps subreddit is so bizarre to me. It's either: "I drew the boys as girl princesses, what do you think" or just a random picture of something that vaguely resembles them or a shitty meme with a reference to a bit from 11 years ago. I feel like with the size of the Grumps fandom there should be quality posting coming out of the subreddit.

I didn't even realize there was a subreddit :P (though I imagine there is a subreddit for pretty much everything) Probably just the fans that actually frequent that reddit tend to be that type of fan and/or really young.

I want to say that it used to be better? Like, there was a long-running shit-storm after Jon left. Then there was the on-again, off-again issue many dedicated fan communities have to deal with of people who are always negative (I would guess that /rantgrumps probably siphoned off most of them though). Eventually I pretty much stopped going there. But in spite of all that, for those first 2-3 years I feel like there was a good variety of high-effort fan content that I found through that subreddit.
Yeah that year or so when Jon left was the reason I stopped subbing to it but once rantgrumps grabbed those people it calmed down a bit. But now it just isn't good. It has the occasional fun "remember this bit?" but that's it. Their discord is about the same too. I am subbed at the $5 tier and have access to it. But it's not all that interesting either.

In Ross’ reaction stream to it, he really likes the idea of designing a world specifically for co-op now, like some of those last levels.
Oh shit there was a reaction? I need to find that.
I remember when making the car level, he put in 2 cars because chat had been mentioning making levels "multiplayer viable". So he literally put a second car and then forgot about the concept.
I want Ross to go back, back to making Mario Maker levels.

Superliminal is still an absolute gem. Loving Arin's reactions to it.
Arin is the last person in the world I'd ask to play Project Zomboid haha. I also just recently took it off my Steam Wishlist because I never see it go on sale... but I might have to finally bite (hah) on it. It looks right up my alley.
I believe their description on Steam states that, until they have a full release and it’s it for a bit, they won’t put the game for sale for less than what backers have paid - that way they won’t make them feel like they were cheated. I can respect that stance.

I'm pretty sure I had it on my wishlist in like 2014.
Yeah, Zomboid is really totally not a Grumps-compatible game. It makes me kind of sad, because I love the game, but they clearly only had Arin play it for the views because its suddenly incredibly popular since multiplayer came out.
The only context I could see Zomboid working in a Grumps format would be as a big multiplayer game with Ross and co. And even then they'd probably have to stream for hours and then cut out the best bits to make it suitable for YouTube. Arin fumbling around with context menus solo is not compelling content.
And him screaming that he doesn't know what to do for 30 minutes. I'm so glad he had... Fuck what's her name? I'm so bad with names! There to help him with the looting the backpack. As soon as I saw the 2 corpses I knew we were in trouble.
God I literally had her name in my head when I started this post and by the time I got to the point of typing it out it completely left. Old age fucking blows lol.
I’m here mainly for Dan and how he and Arin okay off each other. When it’s just Arin I don’t enjoy it Nearly as much. I haven’t watched any of the ones Dan was alone so I’m not sure How I feel about those. But Arin’s Humor without Dan there comment or verbally roll his eyes at Aron’s antics just rubs me the wrong way. It feels like he’s overacting.

Okay this video is the PERFECT grumps game holy shit.

I'm hearing double, two Arins!

It's still pretty early days.
Super minor spoiler for total number of chapters (just in case anyone doesn't want to know):
Thanks for the response

Hearing Jaiden this happy is really heartwarming. Also yes I will take more Ross world content, please.

THANK YOU. I was going to say Holly but that was that girl that did some bad stuff to our boy Ross.
