Arin made the right choice in not exposing Kyoko's lie. Doing so results in Kyoko's execution and the Bad Ending where the survivors decide to just live the rest of their lives in the school (except Toko, who apparently commits suicide).
I like how into the story Dan is at this point.
I mean, it was kind of called earlier in the story.
Remember when Yasuhiro predicted that the mother of his and Makoto's children would be the same person? It was talking about That Ending.
BTW, looking into it on both the Danganronpa wiki and TVTropes, Toko's backstory is pretty dark, and I kinda wish Arin had done at least a few free time events with her.
Her father got two women pregnant who delivered on the same day, but one baby died. Neither woman wanted to know if it was her daughter that died, so both women claimed Toko as their own and moved in with the father. They all abused her, at one point locking her in a dark closet without food for three days. Her DID arose as a coping mechanism to the abuse she'd suffered.
Among the things you find out about Toko in the free time events are that the only time she'd ever been on a date is when a guy lost a bet and was dared into going out with her, and the first time she wrote a boy a love letter he put it up on the class bulletin board before telling her that he hated her because other kids made fun of him because she talked to him so much. She became a romance novel author so she could create fantasies for herself to imagine what being in a loving relationship would be like. Makoto eventually inspires her to begin writing a novel based more on her own life experiences, which Makoto describes as good, but really dark.
The Genocide Jack free time events, in contrast, only reveal that she doesn't want to kill Byakuya and won't ever murder again because that would be "cheating" on him.
A lot of that backstory comes up more in The Bad Game That Exists About as Much as Highlander 2.

Mario Maker content is the best Grumps content possibly ever IMO. I was not only excited to see Ross' dream come to fruition, but just to get back to grumps vids I genuinely enjoyed.
It sucked when they did do SMM2 stuff because they played a lot of really bad levels. When they did a few good ones it was amazing. Like the bank robbery level Arin and Dan did coop. Such a good video.

The best part of the first Ross World vid is the part where Arin died to that like, under the ground spike.
See, every single person who plays that ghost house level smacks into that wall above the dry bones and falls in the pit. Arin somehow hit that wall, landed on the platform, yet walked off and died to aesthetic spikes. Was glorious how unique his death there was.
Ah apparently they will be swapping back and forth between Ross' level and Dungarees. Which I guess makes sense given they have to be at the end of the game at this point. But I was ready for this series of videos ever since Ross finished them up late last year haha.

Ross is going to be watching each GG ep of them playing his World the day it comes out on his Twitch, FYI. I managed to catch the first one yesterday.
YouTube sent me a prompt asking for input on the Grumps' most recent Danganronpa episode. To be more exact, it gave me options descriptors of what I thought of the video with check boxes available.
I indicated that "CRANKING it up a Notch - Danganronpa" was "life-changing", "heartwarming", "inspiring", and "informative".
I don't like watching Ross' levels particularly, but listening is always great because they get into some amazing comedy zones while Arin is suffering through this nonsense.

I feel like these new levels are completely different than the ones in MM1. These levels seem designed way better and less trolly.

Ross does seem to have put on a game developer hat for this. Actually trying to teach the person playing how to beat the level.
Which makes it more fun since Arin misses all of that.

Granted we still have like 35 more levels to go through. But they feel better than his previous ones.

To be fair at least some of that is Ross not realizing how little Arin knows of common Mario maker stuff. See how long Arin took to get what a reset door was. Ross never thought to point out what they are since it is a super common trick in Mario Maker levels to prevent soft locking.
I’ve actually liked some of these Ross levels a lot more than the old batch. At least they’re interesting and clever instead of just ball-busting hard.

He levels overall get a lot better too. The first world has two of his worst levels as far as overall level design goes. Only one other one in world 3 is kind of sloppy. Lead the lads is a good example of how well put together his levels get. He went back and really tidied that one up visually when he wanted to fix it a bit.
Imo the first level in world 3 really shows what he is capable of. It’s traditional enough to look close to something straight out of a nsmb game. The difficulty is reasonable too.
The snow world is likely the best overall set of levels but comes near the end.
But yeah one major thing here is Ross started these after the final update and a lot of new stuff came with that Ross heavily implemented. Arin hasn’t played since around release so he will have no clue about most of it. However considering he had no idea what the smb2 mushroom was he picked up on the use of that quick. He just going to be Arin about a lot of this stuff though.

Ok the end of the third episode kind of hurt ME
Like Arin fuck. You spent 10 minutes figuring this SAME thing out at the beginning of the level. You legit had one of the most flawless runs of this I have ever seen. You 100% had it beat. And you revert back to not knowing how to pass the bubbles and FUCK IT ALL UP
I have a feeling the footage of Ross watching that part will have him leave the room.

So if you don't follow MatPat at all (I am sure there are strong opinions on that matter), he was playing through Ross' world as well. His latest vid on it calls out Arins play as inferior as a joke which is fine.
The best part of this though is a comment pinned in the vid. Someone on Ross' stream really nailed this one
"Ross is a teacher at kindergarten and MatPat's the kid in the corner playing with building blocks, while Arin is the kid eating glue, and Dan is telling him no you need to stick the glue in your ears silly."
Yeah I think he's distracted because they are filming in the same room. There was a time at the end of the video where he was doing the same jump half a dozen times and dying.

That is always the best part of the Mario Maker episodes. The conversation is some of the best they have. It has been great so far. Though I do want to see Arin make it to the end.

Yeah minus the baby ad thing these videos have been great.

Finally started watching Danganronpa. Its very strange! Also I am glad for the ending plot twist that spoiled for me (which is for supposedly another game in the series and not the first one)
That its actually a VR simulation and none of the characters are really dead
because I like everyone.
Also no one had better touch Celeste. Shes a creepy goth gambler which is a weird/unique mix I've never seen before!

Plus finding it out would involve spending time with her, and who would want to do that? She's awful.
Going back to this, I may throw the Souls trilogy on my Series X this weekend and see how they feel.

Is that a spoiler for the first game or the entire series? Cause if it is the entire series you should label it that way.

I dunno why that made me laugh as much as it did.
