I've got Nia with Dromarch/Boreas/Floren and the heals from basically every blade art are so good. Wish she had gotten Ursula so I could have all 3 weapons on her though.
You apparently have a much different standard for "good" than I do.
While true, Overdrives are legit hard to get. You get five of them from the map, one for maxing out each Driver's affinity chart (after 80 hours, I still had several open nodes worth 5000 SP apiece on every Driver), and one for releasing a four-crown generic Blade (in those same eighty hours, I received exactly one four-crown generic from crystals). You really do need to be confident that you know what you're doing before you use one.

I'd replace DKC with DKC2 for the SNES right off the bat. It's a better game all-around.
I'm glad Nia has some secrets too, I was worried she'd never get to do anything else in the story besides comment on it like Penelo.
Tantal is very pretty, and Pandoria is great. She really elevates Zeke up to that next level and also her design has lots of little touches that make her seem just not quite human.

I'm in this weird place where I'm actually really enjoying Xenoblade 2 and then I'm fighting low-level crabs or wolves and King Kong or a pterodactyl decides he wants to get involved and I really want to just put the game down.

Rotbart isn't that much of a problem since he's really big and tends to stay in his spot, but fuck that bird. Fucker flies all over the place and if you turn your back for a second they'll swoop down and peck you to death.
I will say, though, that coming back later and beating up unique monsters is very satisfying.
I went back to Breath of the Wild and finished The Champions' Ballad. I don't really like how a lot of it is additional shrines, something the base game was not lacking, but the boss fight at the end was neat.
I've put nearly 200 hours into my first run of this game.
I'm never doing a new game plus
I really want to play it with japanese audio tho
Oh for sure. It sounds like they've put a lot into the NG+ in the game and I totally understand the appeal, it's just... not the sort of time investment I can get into personally. It's in no small part a psychological thing for me where I'll dump 300 hours into grinding and shit to complete everything once, rather than, like, 100 hours once and like 50 hours a second time to get the same content.
