I've put 50 hours into Battle Chasers since it came out on Switch last week. It's really fucking good. The only thing that sucks is it doesn't split the XP pool with inactive members, so I found the 3 party members I like, and I'm never changing them despite wanting to try other people out.
Just beat my first optional boss in Battle Chasers and it had a mechanic where it would cast an Ignite DoT either with a single target attack or when directly attacked by a party member, and then every few turns cast a big AoE that did just moderate damage normally but fucked my shit up if I had the Ignite status, which also stacked
So it was a really fun race to constantly dispel the Ignites before the big attack came while also making sure I did enough damage so that I wouldn't run out of mana and also doing group heals to keep us alive through the normal damage and it was super tense and exciting, far more than most boss battles I've had in the genre
