Maybe I'm super oblivious but I just wish they were easier to spot. I'm 100% sure I've missed them when they've been there.
Honestly, of the three challenge rooms I've noticed, two are kind of super easy to miss. So it's not impossible. Only the stealth one is really visible, because it's huge and has banners and balconies and shit.

Two bits that could help:
1) If you ever enter a room and get a feeling like the artist of dev team spent an extra minute or two on this one, pause and look around. The challenge rooms kinda stood out to me as 'showcase' rooms, but your mileage may vary.
2) If you're not determined to figure out the solutions to the rooms on your own, there are youtube videos out there with solutions to the challenge rooms that would also show you what each looks like.
Mobile defense also uses challenge rooms for the consoles. Your odds are very high that at least one is in a challenge room.
However, Sentients have this horrible knack of coming right in the middle of a defense, and can fuck up the console if you aren't running some thing that can take it out fast.
Watch a few youtube how to guides - you'll start recognising them quickly enough. Basically any room that is comparatively more intact compared to the broken rubble/frozen Technocyte look some of the tileset has. They're actually good fun when you get used to them!
Hrm. $11 Canadian with a 50% off ticket, with a bit left over. Maybe I'll wait on that for a 75% instead. I don't mind throwing them some cash now and then, but $11 for a frame I'm not clamoring to have seems like a low priority thing to put money towards. Especially since with said ticket, I'd just go for one of the higher tiers that gives a ton more for what you pay.

I dropped another forma into BansheeP, VoltP, and then leveled them and TrinityP (which I built a couple weeks ago after buying 2 of the parts). I’m hydroned out. I probably won’t work on another frame until Rhino and Nova unvault.
Going to work on some weapons, I can level those in SO.
At the moment I’m mostly just working on Ostrogoths standing to build Zaws and get to Surah so I can get the gems for Operator Arcanes. Mostly through t5 bounties for the chance at Edolon lens BPs.
Also, I need to do some Hieracon for cryotic and (hopefully) Axi relics if anyone wants in.

I had like 30 forma, burned through literally all of them crafting and modding my stuff, quit actively playing for hours every day and just log in to make forma now. Back up to like 8 or so. Thank god I have like 85 more blueprints from when the twitch viewing had chances to give you some. They're so good.

Don't do the spy mission. Run the Crossfire Exterminate - generally a larger tileset, which means a higher chance for the rooms to spawn.
The easiest ones are the coop room with the platform jumping, the one with the energy balls at the corner of the (circular) chamber, the mobility one (with the big tubes, where you have to shoot yourself up into the ceiling), and finally the room where you have to dodge the beams and get to the far pressure pad. As I type this I realise how obscure it sounds, but you do get the hang of them.
If you were on Xbox I could help, but the good news is you don't have to do 3 separate challenge rooms - you can do the same challenge rooms repeatedly (on separate missions), and it counts towards your junction.
note that the coop platform-button room needs at least one other person to do it with you, and you should bring specters or clems to use as button weights.

they are all regular-looking large rooms for the most part, they don't scream out "I've got a puzzle in me" unless you know what to look for. They never seem to spawn in dead end branches though, they're always on the required path through the level as far as I have seen.

From playing her, she seems really cool, but has the problem of a lack of survivability for me. Being generally alone, I will inevitably take fire, and when a second of taking fire eats my 450 shields entirely and does 600 damage to HP on top of that, but the extremely rare spawning health orbs heal like 25, I really need some way to either prevent/reduce damage to the non-regenerating HP (ala rhino skin) or refill the HP bar (ala Oberon) or both (ala Trinity).

The only lifesteal mod I have runs in the other direction - lets me heal my pet by stabbing people. If there is one that heals me when the pet does damage, I don't have it and I want two.
(I also am going to need a duplicate Maul and similar mods, because if I'm playing Khora I want Polyp AND Venari out, because double pet lifeis best life).
Was up early early this am (4:00am) to start my smoker and put a brisket on for the long low and slow cook.
Ended up playing a couple of spy missions to figure out which one would be faster so I can get my Ivara Chassis more efficiently. Lua as a higher drop rate (not much though) and Ceres was a breeze.. did one Ceres, then did a Lua, then a Ceres and low and behold, my Chassis dropped.
Ivara bits in the cooker now and that is one less grind to worry about. I suppose I should finish off Nidus, just need the Neuroptics. Then ill maybe see if anyone wants to get Atlas bits with me...
Getting the keys for Mesa is my next chunk after those two.

Nice! I'm still leveling my Ivara. Atlas has slid down my priority list but I definitely want to pick him up, even though that fight is awful. I'm game to chip away at it though.
I have yet to get either the neuroptics or the main blueprint for Ivara despite spamming Rosalind a bunch. It's honestly starting to annoy me a little. I think I'm around 20 runs? Give or take a couple, I'm not really counting.
In other news, with today's alert I snagged the final piece I was missing for Vauban, so all three pieces are building. And so's Mirage Prime (normal Mirage already was building since wednesday). Frame stable continues to grow.

The only lifesteal mod I have runs in the other direction - lets me heal my pet by stabbing people. If there is one that heals me when the pet does damage, I don't have it and I want two.
