Anyone super excited about getting a random Wild Legendary really hasn't taken a good look at the pool they'll be drawing from, or considering how much better Standard legendaries are on average than their Wild counterparts.

On the other hand, my opponents will get Sylvanas or Rag or Emp or Mal'Ganis 100% of the time they play her.
I also like the strategy of release the Druid legendary then release the profoundly better/more interesting Mage legendary immediately afterwards so people won't notice our shame.
well played bliss
I think the Druid legendary isn't bad at all!
The problem is that it's an 8/8 minion without taunt that adds a 10/10 minion with taunt for 10 to your hand something like 50-60% of the time.
No one would play that minion. Not when the Lich King, Bone Mare, Grizzled Guardian, Primordial Drake, Hadronox, and King Togwaggle Exist.
If it put a 10/10 version that cost 5 or 6 I'd be totally on board. But paying full price for such a conditional effect that late in the game just isn't worth it when better options exist.

But you could play a SECOND (or third) Lich King/Primordial Drake!

I'm not so sure about that tbh
I think there's just as many poopoo Legendaries in Standard as there are in Wild
Wild has some real bangers though. Boom, Sylv, Ragnaros, Kel'thuzad, just to name a few. Go and look through all the Wild Legendaries. There's some good shit in there.
Plus Old Gods/Karazhan/Mean Streets are going to Wild now too. You can pull from any of those, as well.

Oh god Trollden's going to be dining out on the mage legendary pulling Yogg.

Yeah. You probably really want: rag, emp, sylvanas, dr. 7, sneed's, kel'thuzad, paletress.
I don't think I would ever be sad to see nefarian, chromaggus, loatheb, rafaam, y'shaarj (maybe not in battlecry-focused decks), yogg, deathwing dragonlord, justicar, medivh, saarad, gah'zrilla. All solid stats and/or effects
Some are definitely situational. Brann requires battlecries. Reno and kazakus (and raza) activate only towards the end of the game.

Which will then be fed by Primordial Glyph into Primordial Glyph into Primordial Glyph.............
by the way
i feel like Glyph literally should not be allowed to discover itself? like that makes that spell way stronger than it actually should be, cause if you get a shit selection, oops reroll, lol!!
With the way some of the cards are designed, I'm sort of wondering if some of these were't part of KFT or KAC and ended up getting pushed back with no changes or corrections.
Witching Hour makes a lot more sense with Menagerie Warden, Splintergraft makes a lot more sense with Aviana+Kun...
i feel like Glyph literally should not be allowed to discover itself? like that makes that spell way stronger than it actually should be, cause if you get a shit selection, oops reroll, lol!!

Okay this brawl is really stupid. First game my opponent opens with a charging feral gibberer and they all get windfury or charge. Turn 5 there are 7 of them down and 2 more in his hand

I think the Druid legendary isn't bad at all!
In a vacuum it probably isn't, but the issue is that Druid doesn't need a flashy finisher, Druid needs basic connective tissue.
I haven't really followed the meta very closely in the last couple years, but it seems like every deck concept I've ever known Druid to run in some form or another (ramp, token, beast aggro, combo, jade) will have been gutted at one point or another through nerfs, retirements, or rotations, and Witchwood seems to be replacing the lost cards with absolutely nothing. We haven't seen one card that looks like an obvious bread-and-butter component of a solid deck.
Splintergraft could give you the best turn 8+10 plays in the game and it might not matter, because what's the Druid playing on turns one through seven and nine that's good enough to keep up?
Just some fun with probabilities while I'm on a work break.
Let's say that the following minions are just straight OP:
Kel'Thuzad
Mal'ganis
Ragnaros the Firelord
Sylvanas
I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest the following minions potentially interact in unbalanced ways with Mage or Frost Lich Jaina:
Dr. Boom
Gahz'rilla
Hallazeal the Ascended
Herald Volazj
Yogg Saron, Hope's End
Let's just add a little wiggle room and estimate that there are 10 Wild minions that we generally don't want to see Toki pick in Standard.
With 107 minions total, and 10 of them are problematic, the probability of getting one with Toki as printed is 9.3%.
If Toki were Discover instead, that probability increases to 25.7%.
Personally, I think that would be fine.
But I also recognize that players tend to overestimate the probability of rare events, and we also tend to focus on dramatic losses. So even though players would see one of those minions only a quarter of the time Toki is played, they'd become a disproportionate source of griping on forums.
every person who doesn't like an acquired taste always seems to think everyone who likes it is faking it. it should be an official fallacy.

So very much this
This is my dream card right now:
4/4 taunt for 5, Deathrattle, Gain a mana crystal.
After not getting any Ice Blocks I seem to have gotten 3 in a very short period of time. Normally I just use the auto dust feature to get rid of extra cards, but its probably worth keeping the extra IB until it gets HoF'd. Question is: is there an easy way to dust duplicate cards that won't dust IB? Is there a codeword like "new" but for duplicate cards?
4 mana 3/5 Rogue minion, Mistwraith. "WHenever you play an Echo card, gain +1/+1
You only need one card to make it above baseline stats (ie Yeti). Could be good?
Very much in the Violet Teacher level of playability. Maybe the echo cards we've seen play better than they look, but so far I've not really been impressed and this isn't far enough ahead of the curve to warrant playing underpowered echo cards.
