Priest tried to kill me with 48 damage from hand. Little did he know Taunt Druid can survive this and run 4 Lich Kings down his throat.

Mindbreaker just won me a game as spiteful druid. Rogue opponent was genuinely confused. He had two clan henchmen on board and tried to hero power. Then I could see the hovering over mindbreaker. And concede. I don't think he had ever seen that card before.
I am in a decent lead life wise, boards are even. Opponent has 2 cards in hand, I need a taunt to protect my board for lethal and play mindvision. I get a shattered suncleric...
Ok, not too bad, i'll add it to my previously spikeridged bone drake. His other card? A fucking Tar lord.
I have some spot removal left in my deck so no use smacking my board into the tar lord yet, let's just sit pretty for one round and force him to trade, right? He topdecks *drummroll* MC FUCKING TECH who proceeds to steal my taunted bonedrake.
I hate that card so, so much. It will never not highroll my ass in arena.
Please Blizzard do something about cubelock. It is such an oppressive deck to play against. It is almost worth instaconceding to save time when I see a warlock opponent life tapping in the early rounds.

What if ... the deathrattle Taunt demon is nerfed to a 3/7?

Voidlord losing a hitpoint or two would definitely be reasonable, with Gul'dan and Rin lock hardly needs an edge on control. I think the biggest problem is Dark Pact though, which should be 2 mana. I wouldn't change much else, maybe increase Kobold Librarian to 3 damage like they did with Flame Imp.
Hadronox Oakheart Witching Hour Cube Naturalize druid shits on cubelock, Sjow has been streaming it for a few days (and is streaming it now)
I played against that this morning as Spiteful Druid. I drew a UI on turn one and a UI on turn three. I didn’t get the whole cube-Hadronox thing until I got hit with it. The other Druid got massive value. I figured out what was going on after that, stabilized, dropped Keleseth, and then ground them out. I saved two cards for their last big Hadronox turn: Mind Control Tech and Mind Control Tech. That swung the board hard. It went to fatigue, but I had a hand and 6/6 and a 8/7 on the board, so I won.
That game was really long and annoying.

Is there a way to do the Paladin (Uther) OTK in Standard?
There is the Blackwald Pixie, which refreshes your hero power, but it costs 3. Can you make your HP cheaper somehow?
No, but you maybe pull some shenanigans with secrets and hero manipulation cards over a couple of turns?
Edit - Oh Getaway Kodo rotated. Dang. Even then, if you return the minions to your hand they still cost two. It's just a tough combo to pull now without bully and beardo.
The thing I'm liking about the Odd/Even decks is that a lot of them are really low in dust cost. If you craft Baku, for example, there are a number of Hunter and Rogue decks out there that rarely have another Leggo in them.
I gotta say, there is considerable less RNG in the game now than the days of bullshit portal or flamewaker. True cards like Lyra and such still have a ton of RNG but those are either mostly smaller spells, and have gone down in frequency since razduin went away.
Then again, Agatha and cauldron have potential for some BS but it's still early and I do enjoy the current state a hell of a lot more than Goblins and Gnomes.
Today I learned: Archmage Arugal absolutely works with Elven Minstrel.
A had a druid play naturalize on my Arugal and still got the double effect before he died.
But yeah any effect that says draw he works with: Witchwood piper, Countess Ashmore, etc.
I tried using it in elemental mage along with Dollmaster and book of specters (same turn, 9 mana) . you get both effects, but dollmaster only spawns one of each minion, while you get two copies of each in your hand.

I don't think Voidlord is the problem really. I think the cube needs to be nerfed to create two neutral minions with no effects of the same atk/health rating of what it ate.
I played a lot of HS last night and this morning. I love new expac meta. It's so much less predictable than pre-expac meta, even at high ranks. I'm still hitting 100% netdecks, but that's okay. It's not like I'm making my decks from scratch.
I can't get on board with nerfing the cube for a deck that is broken thanks to a shitload of new Warlock cards that are broken. If Voidlord had to wait until turn 9 to come out, and it actually cost 9 mana, we wouldn't even be talking about Voidlords, we'd be talking about Doomguards instead.
Lackey is the problem
Skull is the problem
Massive life gain is the problem
Cube is an interesting card that produces interesting effects for more than just Warlock decks, and it'd be a real shame to see it nerfed for what is a plethora of issues with one class right now.
So... I actually like playing Cubelock? It's a fun deck, lots of interaction and decisions to make. Still learning it tbh, just a little over 50% winrate. One thing I've definitely figured out is: Never, ever never rely on a singleton Void Lord to protect you. They will ALWAYS have a silence for it.
XBL: Morgan Coke Yes, there is a space, not an underscore. I'm old school like that.

I would up Skull mana cost to 7 and decrease Dark Pact healing to 5.
Skull is much more powerful than Lackey as a demon summoner, especially for Doomguards. Dark Pact to 2 mana would make it unplayable imo, have to approach it from it's other aspects.
So I've put a singleton copy of ratcatcher in my cubelock list for lack of a better card (missing umbra and voodoo dolls from my collection still).
I have to say it's worked out rather well for me in the following situations.
1. Pop a librarian to maintain some board control (e.g. rush down a chaingang thug before it gets out of hand)
2. Pop a cube or lackey after geist has come down
I think changing Doomguard from "Charge" to "Rush" would honestly solve about 80% of the decks issues, which is the huge win % it picks up from out of nowhere kills.

Yep, and Doomguard is actually a pretty well-balanced card if there aren't ways to just cheat him out. The discard battlecry can be worked around, it adds to the suspense of decisions, and the card is still really good to play. Don't ruin Doomguard!

if nothing else, I feel like baku face hunter will be pretty legit as long as it's in standard

On turn 5.
But, then I had to beat him again on Turn 8.
And again on turn 12.
And finally, for the last time, on turn 18 or whatever.
I only won because Guldan was, I think, the last card in his deck.

Just gave an Odd Paladin a paddlin' by getting Mindbreaker down on curve and getting it to stick for four turns.
He only did two damage to my face all game.

Titan's Creed: Jump first, don't ask questions, punch everything
I think this is really the issue.
Warlocks are supposed to burn themselves down, and enter into a kind of HP race where they're damaging themselves so that they can kill you faster.
That breaks hard when they also have the best self-healing in the game.
And that self-healing synergizes super-well with all of their power cards.

What if Guldangerous is nerfed?
That's what gives that deck a literal 2nd life.
Full recovery from having no cards, no board, and almost dead.
Dude gives you ALL of those back and a win-con better than hunter's hero power.
