@Coffey as you get more popular and stream more common games, I suggest looking into turning on Stream Delay or switching screens while queuing to prevent sniping. It is rarer, but it does happen more often than you'd expect.

Yeah, I've been watching TruTalent stream Dead By Daylight and it's a big issue for him. Right now, I'm more concerned with being able to interact with the few peeps I have in chat than losing at video games. I'm not super competitive at anything anymore but if trolling ever became an issue, I'd look for ways to stop it, for sure.

Whoever said that winning wouldn't get me over Into The Breach was totally right. I have to do it now on 3 and 4 islands and with a whole bunch more teams. This game is seriously great.

Played a little bit of Dungeon of the Endless yesterday after a very long hiatus. It's good to be back in the saddle  I never really gave the TF2 or Rescue Team DLC a good shake, or the Organic Pod for tha matter, so there's plenty there for me to get back into.

I just realised I forgot to install it on my laptop however and I'm off to work today. Whoops. Oh Well, more Into The Breach and Dying Light then!

Speaking of the latter, is the story in Dying Light good at any stage? I'm about 3 hours in (finished work with Rais) and I'm already spamming through the conversations because it's all garbage. Can I continue to do so ad infinitum without missing much?

Apparently I didn't have @Big Classy as a friend, which is just wrong given we only live about thirty minutes away.

Anyway, I should have known better than to add him:

I'm pretty sure I got at least 30 people with that one at release.

Also, I only have Far Cry 5 on PS4 and there are far too many games to get through to justify buying it twice. Plenty of people in here have it though!

God the characters in Nier Automata are endearing.

I didn't think I would like the machines but they're so friggin amusing when they're acting like humans.

One particular machine sniffed me because they could smell the scent of another that they love.

    "Sniiiiiiif!"

I played some Infernium for a while last night. This is Pac-Man meets Dark Souls, which ultimately just made me want to reinstall Dark Souls 3 and try that yet again, so apparently I just hate myself, so there's that.

Awesome price for a great game. If you've ever wanted to play an FPS roguelite with a sort of Heretic/Hexen vibe, this one might be worth looking at. I've had a lot of fun with it, but I've also never beaten the game because it gets tough pretty quickly.

Finished up Ni No Kuni 2 over the weekend. I would say overall it was "OK", I enjoyed my time with it, but it wasn;t particularly engaging in mechanics or story. There were some elements in the mechanics that seemed like the seed of something much better, but they just didn't quite line everything up in a way that clicked. I liked the little army battles, but the progression on those was pretty squirrely. There's a lot of depth to the rpg stuff. Equipment details are in depth, lots of tweakable resisitances and bonuses, but the majority of it never really mattered. I had fun with the kingdom building element, but that to seemed a bit too disconnected from everything else.
So yeah, there's good stuff in there, but overall it gets a Fine. Nothing to get too excited about, certainly not bad. Not nearly as charming as the original unfortunately.

Will probably try and play the second TellTale Batman season next since the final episode is out. Next week the PS4 is going to steal me away from Steam for a while, with not just one angry papa, but two.

I fell off before I cleared out the game, and I don't think I ever beat it on hard, but I got a good 20+ hours out of it. It's a pretty good podcast game. (Low on story, high on action.)

Started up FFXII Zodiac Age over the weekend and made it up to out of Barheim Passage. Let's see if I can manage to actually complete this game, because I tried about three times on PS2 and got to the highlands before getting distracted away from it.

Party setup is going to be:

Vaan - Monk / Archer, Big Punch Man
Penelo - Shikari / White Mage, Ultramurder Healing Ninja
Balthier - Uhlan / Time Battlemage [throwaway]
Fraan - Foebreaker / Machinist [throwaway]
Ashe - Black Mage / Red Battlemage, "EXA-SPLOOOOOOSION!"
Basch - Knight / Buschi, "EXCALIBAAAAAAAAH!"

I like Balthier, but the main party is going to be Basch, Ashe, and Penelo so there's no room for him. Vaan will probably never leave the bench unless I need to steal shit. And I have never, ever liked Fraan's character design so she's never seeing the field outside of cutscenes.

Penelo is going to be extremely hard to hit as a healer with something like a Main Gauche in her hand. However, the setup also allows her to equip ninja swords and go from evasive healer to bringer of death instantly. Imagine something like a +Dark ninja sword combined with a +Dark mystic armor. Or other elements, though not sure how many types of ninja swords are in the game.

Ashe will be the magical firepower and she'll be bringing a TON of it. She'll have access to some White Magic through Red Battlemage to serve as healing but her primary focus once she picks up Black Mage is going to be unleashing apocalyptic top-tier Black Magic spells at anything and everything in her way until all is naught but ash. "Nice bakuretsu."

Basch will be the tank in the trinity and he'll be a damn good one too. With Knight he gets low rank White Magic, tons of health, and plenty of ways to make sure the enemy is focused on him. With Buschi though he goes from damage sponge to destroyer of worlds by virtue of being able to equip katanas and mystic armor.

Usually, I install it, make a mad dash past that first fire-breathing dragon, get pwned by the knight on the other side, and ragequit/uninstall. Total elapsed time: 7 minutes. No wonder you never see it happen.

I have a save after that point. I did ragequit on that idiot a few times, but I've made it past him with two characters now.

Also she is very tall. The other characters are not. So when the camera is panning around behind the crew guess what you mostly see of Fraan.

Her character is fine, it's actually kind of interesting, but that outfit is why JRPG's need to have optional costumes.

The x2/x4 really helps FFXII. Particularly if like me you dislike the combat quite a bit. Pretty easy going game to play though once you're used to it's idiosyncrasies.

That's the thing that I don't get. Ashe and Penelo are both dressed fairly reasonably. Then you have Fran, who's entire race are playboy bunnies. Their feet are even naturally contorted into stiletto heels. It's ridiculous and gross and super out of place.
