So @EvmaAlsar how much of that game is Go Right Simulator?
Also, I played Bird Story yesterday. I hoped to play it with the kids but they got bored. It was a nice little story but it was very much what I would call basically a VN-on-rails and not much more. Seemed like a proof of concept for the writer/Dev?
It's mostly Go Right Simulator, but the means to which you go right are acquiring fuel for your vehicle's engine, venting built up steam, pushing the button back in to keep the motor running and optionally deploying sails when wind is favourable.
You pick up a few upgrades to the vehicle as you progress, usually through a little puzzle of a location you need to stop at. Don't forget the handbrake when exploring.
Does Haseo really have to pick a fight with literally everybody he talks to
Yes.
Yes, he does. Haseo is a huge dickhead. It makes you wonder why he ever cared about Shino.
He's literally taunting his own healer in the arena waiting room right before a critical match.
The sooner he pulls his head out of his ass the better.
Are you still in volume one?
Yes, grinding a bit before the final tournament match.
As an aside the grinding is really not bad in this game. Each level only takes 1,000 EXP so as long as I'm putting together word strings with enemies about 3-4 levels above the party I can end up matching them for strength by end of level, with good loot if I also got a high treasure level boost. And it's not like battles take a long time to finish either.
Played an hour of Quarantine Circular last night and it's pretty neat! Like the first one, they've got interesting in-game reasons why it's just a bunch of people/things largely without faces standing around talking to each other. I appreciate that it's not glossed over and it improves immersion. Looking forward to finishing it tonight as it's probably not too long a game, which is perfect
I really like SoD2 (heck, I've been playing it allll day) but holy shit is it not the buggiest thing I've ever played. I think they out-bugged Troika even.

Thanks to @Ed Gruberman for reminding me of the Dauntless open beta and getting my feet wet in some monster hunter action. I think I can see the appeal though I'm not sure I'd spend money on it since I'd basically want to coop it all the time.
This was not the week to have jet lag-based insomnia. But here we are. Work in two hours though!
On the plus side, I’m about two missions off the close of Battletech, which has been great fun so far (even if I’ve not seen anywhere near the amount of Assaults that everyone else apparently has).
Decided to put down PoE 2 and do the White March expansion content for PoE 1 first. It asks if you want to turn on level scaling for an overleveled party. Cautiously clicking ‘No’ led to a few hours of hilarious enemy instagibs. I may enable it for the second part of the DLC!
Oooo Moonlighter is out I see. Has anyone given that a whirl yet? I don't know why I love whatever genre "shopkeeper by day, dungeon explorer by night" is, but I realllly do.
It looks like Bunker Punks released yesterday too if anyone has been waiting for that one. Looks like a fun retro rogue-lite shooter
edit: with light base-building!
Argh, stop! That DOES look pretty cool. I'm a sucker for base building.
That makes THREE interesting looking titles that came out today! That, Moonlighter, and Yoku's Island Express. For the latter, I never thought I'd actively be waiting for a pinball game (is "adventure pinball" a thing?) to be released, but here we are. I had it on my calendar and everything.
Don't worry, its probably just a remaster of Fallout 3 and or New Vegas so we'll probably all be equally be disappointed since most of us in this thread own a PC that can probably mod and update those games ourselves.

@ReverseCreations does not seem to understand that this is the Day of Gifting Destroyah All the Things. Not Gift Pixie.
Thanks, though.

And now @EvmaAlsar with the birthday confusion issue.
Thanks!

Let us know how it is!
Also I keep thinking Vampyr is from CD Project Red when it's DontNod, the Remember Me/Life is Strange people.

It's actually pronounced Vampire by the devs; I just refuse to say it that way.
You are correct. If they wanted people to say Vampire instead of Vampier then they probably should have just named it Vampire

EDIT - AND Agony, apparently. Yeesh!
And it's got 4 seconds of footage CENSORED on Steam (and the console versions).
I'm boycotting.

It’s available now.

But they said the footage will be provided in a video.
I feel bad about the timing for their release though.
Steam: Handkor
They didn't censor gore, sex, gory sex, children's heads exploding and drug use, what the fuck is in that four seconds to cause a panic?
Whaaat does it mean?
Good for console fans though atleast.
