I could give you my Trade Agreement or something to sab it? It's not worth my ceasefire.

    So, not that incensed.

Yeah, nah. I didn't expect you to be.

    Absolutely no sab here!

@MrBody do you care enough to sabotage the Veto?

  • MrBodyMrBody Registered User regular
A pity. And even though I have 5 sabotages in my hand...nah.

@MrBlarney for the next agenda when convenient then.

  • MrBlarneyMrBlarney Registered User regular
The Veto goes through, and a new agenda is drawn from the top of the deck:

    Shard of the Throne (Law)
Elect Player: The elected player gains this card and 1 victory point. A player gains this card and 1 victory point when he wins a combat against the owner of this card. Then, the previous owner of this card loses 1 victory point.

    Voting Order
The Barony of Letnev (Ketar): Up to 12 votes
The Ghosts of Creuss (MrBody): Up to 8 votes
The Winnu (discrider): Up to 17 votes
Sardakk N'orr (Preda): Up to 4 votes
The Mentak Coalition (Hedgethorn): Up to 8 votes
The Naalu Collective (Mojo_Jojo): Up to 10 votes; Speaker

At least 24 hours will be allocated for discussion, deals, transactions, and Action Card declarations, unless all players collectively call for voting to start before then.

    For the record:
    Sardakk N'orr - 6 VP
The Mentak Coalition - 5 VP
    The Winnu - 4 VP
The Naalu Collective - 3 VP
The Ghosts of Creuss - 3 VP
The Barony of Letnev - 1 VP

  • discriderdiscrider Registered User regular
    So...
    Just give it to Letnev?

Heh, and Letnev could lose the card if they attacked someone and lost :P

Letnev lose an attack? We understand the individual words in that sentence, but not how you combine them together.

Letnev seems a natural choice, although given the current board state Cruess and Naalu are less likely to lose a combat to N'Orr and give the point over to the leader.

Creuss and Naalu would then just be attacked by Letnev so..
And Creuss is now adjacent to the N'orr, whilst the Mentak is adjacent to the Naalu

    Cruess is adjacent to N'orr?

Creuss is adjacent to N'orr (since the beginning of the last status phase)

While everyone is trying to avoid painting a target on themselves, does anyone out there have a ceasefire they'd like to trade? Ours is still with us, lonely and in need of a good home.

We'll buy it if you want to sell it.
Perhaps 2 TG when we have the money?

The only way N'orr wins a battle against us is by coming further into our territory. They wouldn't make it back out alive.

Also their forces being scattered to 6 separate hexes for that SO make it rather easy for anyone except Naalu to win a battle against them for now.

  • discriderdiscrider Registered User regular
The Skilled Retreat card would also prevent any loss occuring..
Probably not the one on subsequent invasion though.

This is about as serious as me offering a 2 TG trade agreement for a sabotage, right?

  • discriderdiscrider Registered User regular
Well, it was a starting point.

  • KetarKetar Come on upstairs we're having a partyRegistered User regular
We're not interested in selling it. We require notes of reasonably equivalent value, with the preference being another ceasefire.

  • discriderdiscrider Registered User regular
    Hmm.
How much would you value our Acquiescence racial note at?

I'm not sure what I'm picking at this point (I don't see how I beat the leaders to 10), and potentially Creuss would nab it.

There's a very high chance that either Leadership or Technology are available to Creuss, and I don't think they'd pass on either to take Politics.

    Hmmmmm..

  • PredaPreda Registered User regular
@ketar interested in excanging ceasefire? I'm even willing to do it while I retreat from Quann...

  • KetarKetar Come on upstairs we're having a partyRegistered User regular
@Preda I'd be willing to exchange them after you have returned through the wormhole, but not before.

  • PredaPreda Registered User regular
We can do the excange while I retreat through the wormhole not after, than we'll be no longer neighbours.

  • KetarKetar Come on upstairs we're having a partyRegistered User regular
We'll be neighbors again as soon as I move into the Quann territory.

  • KetarKetar Come on upstairs we're having a partyRegistered User regular
Actually, the only time we would not be neighbors is if you withdrew through the wormhole and someone else claimed Quann.

  • HedgethornHedgethorn Associate Professor of Historical Hobby Horses In the Lions' DenRegistered User regular
Play Construction Rider. Predict Letnev will get Shard of the Throne.

Construction Rider: After an agenda is revealed: You cannot vote on this agenda. Predict aloud an outcome of this agenda. If your prediction is correct, place 1 space dock from your reinforcements on a planet you control.

Right, the planet would still be mine, so still neighbors. We'll trade it after I move, unless you sell yours before.

    No sabotage
