The ability to experience the world alongside other people is turned on by default. Players can switch it off if they want to be truly alone, but the way Murray explains it, having it enabled won’t suddenly lead to those strange agglomerations of player characters you see in MMO questing hotspots.
Erm, wrong thread? Looks like this is No Man's Sky?

Trying to work up the courage to take on AT Kirin. I keep putting it off.
I don't drink but I feel like I need to down some hard whiskey before fighting this thing.
AT Kirin is pretty toothless if you go in with the Temporal and Thunderproof Mantles. Maybe throw in some Tool Specialist to get almost 100% mantle up-time.
Damn.
Had no idea tool specialist could work that well. Will look into it.
Yeah, just run a lance or gunlance build with guard up, vitality, lightning defense. Combine with mantles and just turtle him out. Sure it'll take forever, but it's super low risk.
Are the AT Vaal and Kirin more likely to be gold crown? I had read that tempered monsters tend to have a higher chance to be gold crown and wondered if this might apply to AT's?
Anyone planning on getting the PC version who hasn’t ordered yet; Green Man Gaming (authorized Capcom key seller) emailed me 10 codes that bump the final price of the preorder to 25% off. PM me if you want one.
I'd love a sale on PSN to reduce the noise from the fan kicking in and making it sound like it's gonna burn down my house while playing.
I am not a fan of bow, but I wish I was. Maybe try light bowgun next? I didn't want to do heavy bowgun cause my other main weapons are Charged Blade and Lance, wanted something more mobile.

LBG is probably one of the top mobility weapons, so...
I am still getting fucking rolled by AT Kirin, anyone wanna post builds and or strat?
This battle became pretty easy once I equipped Wyvern Ignition and I crafted the LV3 tool specialist charm thanks to some advice here.
Bring Thunderproof and Temporal mantle into the battle and you should only have a small gap of time in between uses before one of the cloaks refreshes after the other one expires. Wyvern Ignition does massive amounts of damage all by it's self but if you're wearing armor (like Kulve Taroth's) that can unlock its fire element, that would certainly help aswell since Kirin is weak to it.
I've found its super easy to just keep draw attacking Kirin's head with a great sword. It'll end up tumbling over quite abit throughout the hunt and it'll allow you to get off some fully charged strikes for huge damage.
Equipping vitality and thunder def jewels doesn't hurt either if your armor doesn't have innate thunder defense. I was using Kulve Taroth b so I had a good bit and it didn't take much to get thunder blight immunity once I stacked a few jewels on.

I have all that stuff, is there some trick to actually fighting him?
I was using Wyvern Ignition with thunder resist 35 and still dying.
I am in the business of saving lives.

My strategy is patience, always go for only 2 pokes, block thunderstrikes instead of avoiding if you're not confident. The Mind's eye jewel is important, as Kirin loves to hit you when you bounce hits.
I think I'm done with this game for now. Even with decor sniping I can't solo the event monsters today - no way I would be able to take down Behemoth in a month.

What armor are you using and has it been fully augmented?

The flaw is going to be getting greedy when fighting him. I pretty much guarantee if you enforce a limit on how many times you're allowed to hit him before you force yourself to reposition, you'll see huge changes. It's also give you more visibility on him to learn his move sets better.

Behemoth isn't meant to be soloed anyways, so don't sweat it there.
I do AT Kirin with Spread LBG (Jho for Spread 3, Juyra Bullet for Spread 2), but you could do rapid fire normals as well (Karma). And I echo Dr. Chaos above, what HR are you at & have you unlocked augments?
Is there a way to save ps4 screenshots without a social media account?
I am using Wyvern Ignition then a mixture of Kirin and other high thunder resist stuff then stun resist, thunder resist, vitality.
It's probably just getting to greedy like you've all stuff, but damn if isn't demoralizing.
You can post them as a message on the PSN (either communities or a private message) and then retrieve them by plugging into your psn account at PlayStation.com. I think it’s in the my.playstation.com sub domain. Not sure, only have my phone on me.
Facebook/Twitter is faster, IMO, but this should work in a pinch.
EDIT: Looks like you can post to Activities now, too? This allows you to retrieve it online from your Profile Page, I think, since Profiles contain Recent Activities at the bottom.
Oh, and you should be able to just store screenshots locally by pressing and holding the SHARE button or pressing SHARE then pressing the Triangle button. Then you can use a USB drive to retrieve the screenshot by going into Settings > Storage > Hard Drive > Capture Gallery, with a transfer option in the OPTIONS button menu.

Yeah, that doesn't change where my Toadstools are. The bar-settings don't show them where they actually are.
i have ~500 lance hunts
They super do. There's even a button to resort your items in the bar to match their order in the pouch, as well as options to manually resort.

Oh yeah, that's a thing. . .

I can just feel it coming in my bones.
I saw this video today and learned more than a few things
Like you take more chip damage in power guard, I had no idea
https://youtu.be/T6x4inXgCMk
- Blocks from all directions
- The thrust attack is more powerful
- Helps cancel a full counter
Also, for you Dual Blade users, I have forgotten to post my infinite sharpness build:
You need to augment the DB with affinity, but this has a 50% base affinity, so yeah, 100% on weak points. Critical gems are optional!
Thronetaker Redux
This time they'll change it so Nergigante comes in last so you can't just sic him on all the others to annihilate them

Still no snake-buddies under the cannons.
Yeah, I know. It worked on everything except Toadstool.
what weapons do you like
Fight me.

I've tried all these builds and still can't take down solo AT Kirin or AT Vaal.
Probably a character flaw in myself, but the game isn't much fun after you've spent 300 hours farming decors to be unable to take down new events.
Might get a switch for the new game?
With temporal mantle you can be max aggro as you are invulnerable, and Kirin can't quite kill you with thunderproff on.
AT Vaal is requires you to stay busy as a Hunter and use a health regen weapon. If you let off the gas his cloud will overcome you.

Look, lances just don't spin around that much.

Fight? Sorry I am to busy charging after a wounded Jo across the map with this sweet lance.

Oh, can Mushroomancer affect how they're sorted?
Think I'm just going to solo and back out of El Dorado until I find a tsuchinoko.

I don't like melding. Too many different types of resources for one thing.
fitst good thing i've gotten from her since the second round i'm pretty sure
