it's theoretically possible to just run taroth sessions forever for gem farming, i think
they'll presumably have to automatically complete it to cut it off
might be what they did at the end of the spring event. a small patch and the next time you log in you can't access it anymore. but eventually you get kicked offline too (at least, that's what happened to me trying to keep playing around when it rolled over)
On the plus side, I will absolutely use that bow. I just need to read up on Blast builds. I wonder if a Blast/Partbreaker build is viable?

You know, I've wondered: what is the difference between status effect ammo like sleep 1 and its upgraded version like sleep 2?
Do the effects last longer or does it just shorten the amount of hits it takes to take effect?
I haven't used status effect ammo, but I would assume you would want to use lower level status ammo up earlier on to proc the effect on the monster, and then the stronger ammo later on when they're more resistant? Does that make sense?

I finally limit broke my tried and true GS set -- and dang does having that much defense really give me a lot more confidence against tempered Elders. Did Nergigate 1-Faint, 2 mans, and never really felt stressed.
Meh. Last three KT breaks got me nothing of note (unless my third Water SnS was “of note”). Actually the last one itself was a timed out run that ended after the even did. Got 5 rewards, only 3 weapons, all R6. Oh well, I did get some fun stuff to try out.
I woulda loved to have that Water SnS. I branched out from GS to learn Lance, and I happy to have Blue Prominence, Taroth Crest 'Claw' and Taroth Crest 'Thunder'. But my only functional SnS is the Grand Barong II. I need to figure out what to do with Legia's Rimespire and a new Free Element Set to use with Master Bang.

since running taroth i've figured i should start optimizing for the sake of other people at least
tempered jho isn't hitting for 60% of my health now. shit's cray.
Oh shit temp jho is back eh? I'll have to take a whack at that this weekend. I am on call so I am pretty much home bound, but would be pretty funny to try and help a user over the phone while also not getting eaten by Jho.
