Atrus doing his own Drake yes/no meme.

Edit: He's gentle with toys, but we let him play with that ball for exactly one second too long and it is now in the trash.

    Not allowed to stop petting.

    How old is atrus?

I,kind of hope that when Bodhi gets old he'll get a smokey face from going grey.

Bruce is settling in nicely, but has developed the annoying habit of not covering his poops in the box. We think maybe it's some kind of dominance thing with the other cats and he'll grow out of it, but I'm kinda tired of coming home to a house that smells like cat shit.

He's also decided he likes sleeping on our pillows so it's not unusual for us to wake up with a kitty for a hat.

Ollie couldn't care less, though. He was too busy taking a nap in a box.

Atrus is 8. He'll be 9 in September. We got him in july of 2012 when he was 2.

He used to be such a pencil face, and we almost called him Drogo because of his epic guy-liner.

This is Mabel's "CHEESE??" face, developed after spending far too long being babysat by my father. Seen here being expertly combined with the 'back of the couch as a headrest' ploy.

I was at the fridge getting some ice and dropped a piece so I thought I'd give it to bodhi to sniff because he might think it was interesting.

He grabbed it like I gave him the best fucking treat in the world and took it to it to another spot to chew. Then he got really upset that lost it under a table. Viv then rescued it and then he took it to his bed where he played with it for another 3 minutes.

Better. My wife has kind of given in to the fact that I'm keeping her. She's had to take care of her all weekend because of my vasectomy and she has handled it well so that's a good sign.

Uschi gets really excited when I go to the freezer in case he gets ice out of it.
Course he can't keep it in his mouth because it's slippery and he's a giant fumblefart, so we end up with little puddles all over the floor.

Oh yeah Lando fucking LOVES ice. Whenever he hears us getting some from the kitchen he bolts over with the quickness.

But he always takes it over to his bed, because he knows if he drops it, it'll slide all over the tile.

After I rescued the ice cube from under the table, Bodhi immediately took it to his bed to secure it. When I gave him another one today, he went straight to his bed with it.

It’s so cute I could die.

None of mine went for ice (lab mix, a pit, and a border collie, fwiw). The border collie liked chewing on small rocks and had the teeth to prove it, never figured that habit out.

Mabel is a total sucker for a good lettuce leaf, she eats those in her Most Specialist Food spot (there's a complex locational hierarchy). Carrots are good but only deserving of Pretty Special Food Spot. For her birthday we buy her a whole head of lettuce.

Usch used to eat rocks while he was teething, fortunately he grew out of it.
His favorite thing to do now is to stare at Mabel when she's snacking in one of her designated special food zones. Because obviously she can't eat anything while people are watching, and if he does it for long enough sometimes she'll put the food down and he can steal it. Then he runs to his own Special Food Zone and eats it.

Owning berners means you get to watch the world's dumbest mind games.
