AI games count, and in one AI game you can get 20+ takedowns in 5 minutes. It's really not all that hard to finish the quest series over the next 3 weeks.

and unrelated to big d, but early data for lunara is showing that blossom swell/choking pollen are fuckin' traps. choking pollen at the time of writing this has a 10% lower winrate than splintered spear
Imagine my shock that trying to build Lunara around her shitty, filler Q talents continues to be a terrible idea.
It's an interesting playstyle they are trying to make happen, but it just doesn't work because the cooldown is too long and the skillshot too finicky and nothing about it meshes with how Lunara plays. It's basically a stand back and spam Q at the enemy build on a character that doesn't want to do that kind of thing.
Huh, this is a notable change to that bottom merc camp.
Not huge but it makes a difference.

So let that be a lesson to all of you what happens when you don't pick any heroes with cleanse, unstoppable, protected, or ice block vs a first pick Chromie. And you pick Lunara, who displays her deficiencies once again compared to Tracer and Genji who both have ways to counter her recall.

they also nerfed the everloving shit out of choking pollen anyway
like, it wasn't a good talent to begin with? but they made it 10x worse
the damage was fucking hosed. it went from 125% bonus to 100%, except that 100% is conditional on 3 stacks otherwise it's just 50%. and that 2nd 50% only works when they already have three stacks??? like uh, hello, Q is a tool to apply poison stacks in the first place, using it at full stacks is pointlessssss
even more so now since the damage was fuckin' nerfed to shit.
getting used to the new fire stomp is going to be a thing, and i'm unsure how balanced he is, but new diablo seems alright. since he's less insanely dependent on wall slams to get value he feels much, much less frustrating to play at least in the 2 games i've done so far.

Lunara' s defense to that is to charge forward and murder chromie.
This works surprisingly well for lots of heroes. Lots of Chromies will not shoot their skill shots of you attack them aggressively, they will run.

They actually increased the range. It's just they removed the talent to make it 2 screens long. So you end up with somewhere between old base range and old talent-upgraded range.
He didn't always have that extra range. Back in my day we had to fucking learn how to Diablo without that crutch.
On Varian, I have "No Potions!" as his taunt line. I just need to end up getting a Cain on my team when I'm playing him so that I can spam my taunt whenever I'm around Cain and see if he gets confused or responds in any way.

the push distance feels pretty identical, did they change it? the range on q got nerfed but that's different and was honestly healthy for the game, shadow charge range with the talent made fighting in a lot of places way too dangerous.
I don't mind that they're in the item pool... I just want to see the new stuff. The only event skin I've seen so far is one of the ETC ones.
