    Got mine. Taking my brother this year as well, which will be his first PAX. He got married, finished law school, and had a son right around when I first started attending PAXes, and ten years later he's got the time and resources to go to one, so we can see which of us figured out the better long-term life strategy, can't we!

    Yeah, got in, but saw the prices, but thought about hotels and food and the fact that I want to start buying myself some grown-up stuff (like a PS4), and figured I can't swing that for a weekend.

    Honestly, if it weren't my brother's first PAX, I'm not sure if I'd have tried to go this year. I think all the spectacle will be cool for him, since it will probably be the only one he ever gets to see. But I didn't go last year, and wasn't too torn up about it. PAX West has just grown a little too huge for comfort, and running all over downtown to get between locations leaves me exhausted for more than a week afterwards.

    On the other hand, PAX South has a guaranteed spot on my calendar indefinitely.

    I'm not saying "do it". And I'm not saying "don't do it"/
    I'm just saying that if I saw someone deliver themselves to PAX via catapult but without a badge, I think I'd be inclined to give them my badge, because I've just seen the best thing at the show.

    Note: I am not attending this PAX, so you may want to check if anyone who is attending feels the same way about catapult delivered gate crashers before you undertake design and construction of a catapult.
