ron is a libertarian as imagined by a very optimistic and reasonable liberal
no real-life libertarian is anything like Ron Swanson, especially after the first season
I feel like Ron just identifies as libertarian because initially he feels like he deserves to be alone and not rely on others. He pushes people away. I think thats why he begrudgingly mentors April so he can keep her from ending up like him.
I have a podcast now. It's about video games and anime!Find it here.
I'm not going to begin making a list right now because I've got work to do (catching up while a job prints), but when I do Joel Hammond from Santa Clarita diet is gonna be on it.

Oh. Well, then. I just realized I forgot to put anyone from Don't Trust The B In Apartment 23, so replace Barney with Chloe, then.
I would put someone from Crazy Ex-Girlfriend on my list, but that might just lean closer to Not A Sitcom. Too many characters to choose from, anyway.

counter argument, Martin Crane
edit: Oh oh, can I nominate Hal and Lois as a single entry?
Other than that the show seems to be identical.
One of the kids keeps dabbing though and I want to punch him.

garry shandling - it's garry shandling's show

this took hours to pare down
Then it captures the spirit of the original
i imagine you in a candlelit room, neglecting the rest of your life, thinking furiously as the moon slowly rises in the background
then i screamed at my neighbor for letting their dog poop in the hall
then i eliminated runner up carl winslow
There's six Friends, and one of them is Ross

Ron, Chidi, Leslie, and all three Goodies are all very close runners up.

Tahani Al-Jamil
Steven Hyde
Barney Stinson
It's... been awhile since I've seen How I Met Your Mother, so it's possible Barney might not have
made the list if I had seen it recently.

This special is important.
Because him playing a wholly ridiculous version of himself is just the best.
this was my cover photo on facebook for a very long time, until it became Michael Bolton riding an eagle.
Like, imagine how wild it'd be if Sealab 2021 suddenly decided to become a meditation on failure with a complex mythology and a cast of dozens
it sounds like someone didn't quite get tornado shanks
That's okay though, because Reginald VelJohnson wins best movie cop for Die Hard. Yes, Sgt. Al Powell is even better than Axel Foley or Freddy Heflin.
Buck from Married With Children
Eddie from Frasier
Santa's Little Helper from The Simpsons
Speedy from The Drew Carey Show
Murray from Mad About You

For a looser definition of 'sitcom'.
Um he was on my list.
Philip Banks
Dennis Reynolds
Brad Williams
Fran Fine
Christopher Turk
Would be wildly different if I didn't knit this together in ten minutes while at work, I am sure
I still don't know what this distinction means
Um basically think of it as how Friends was shot versus Malcom in the middle.
