I'm just sad that Demi Lovato is having such a hard time of it staying off the hard drugs. She seems like such a good person in interviews and stuff, and she's got an absolutely fantastic voice, but the drugs have got their hooks really deep into her.
I cant even imagine having addiction and the sort of resources and contacts she has, it seems almost impossible to get and stay sober.

I would imagine that lifestyle leads very quickly to falling into the moderation trap. With all of the booze and drugs around you all and enough time passing since the last time addiction damaged your life, I don't see how you wouldn't eventually tell yourself you can handle just a little in a moment of weakness and then the addiction starts all over again. I don't see how you could stay clean without retreating from fame and the trapping of it.

I saw an interview of hers where she was talking about the first time she got out of rehab and was conducting an interview for television about how she'd "gotten clean" and was off drugs completely, and she said she was high as a kite while giving that interview...

The last 15 or so minutes of the finale were the big fight, resulting in Rick almost killing Negan but then choosing to let him live as his prisoner to try to teach him a lesson and show how people should really be able to survive and work together? Also, wacky twist, Jesus and Maggie and Daryl were legit pissed about that choice and teased mutiny against Rick, which seems like the big conflict of the next half-season (yeah, the actor playing Rick isn't even contracted for the full season, so whatever's gonna happen next will be happening quick)
The trailer for the next season shows Rick talking with prisoner Negan, so he's still onscreen as a character

Also? I think it might have some the most elegant storytelling I've seen in awhile. ESPECIALLY in regards to transitions of scenes and exposition.

I'm just now watching last night's episode and just finished the dress buying scene. Pretty floored to be honest. I know this shit is going to boil over and these actresses are going to end up burning some shit down before too long.

I really wish I’d given up on Walking Daed sooner. By the end I was just watching out of habit even though I hadn’t really enjoyed it for years. It still had the occasional good moment, but by and large it was awful.

That show irritates me because it's occasional flashes of great writing and just really clever, beautifully filmed TV. And then it's like 9 episodes of plodding hot garbage and bad dialogue again.
