There could be the whole "I have to do what is best for our people which is killing you before the main character guardian kills us all.

This Eye of Another World decoration is real cool looking, but it's like a worse version of fucking four other Warlock exotics that all essentially do the same thing

It is, for the most part, better (or at least, less spiky) for PVP than other warlock exotics as it is always on.
Nezerac’s Sin is the obvious comparison but it takes in the realm of 4 kills a minute to match which depending on playlist and player skill may be infeasible.
So I caved and bought the pass since its only 20 bucks right now.

My first renknown maxed sector got me close to 50 tokens. Second one only 10. Whats with the crates to shoot in the sector? I shot crates the first time, but something tells me thats NOT what caused my token explosion. And instead it was a milestone. But I dont know for sure.

It was the milestone, the crates do nothing except go boom as far as I'm aware, and I think this rally ends at reset, yes.

I mean I'm glad you're enjoying it but, when I think of "timed event with terrible grind for one decent reward" it doesn't scream relaxing to me. But then again, I've been playing destiny PvE enough that it's a piece of gum that's lost all flavor. If it hadn't been for this community telling me of several bugs that broke progression for the Rally, as well as a more efficient method of grinding out tokens, I doubt I would have gotten to 50 even if had wanted to.
Weird night of D2. I could not get the Blizzard launcher to work, until after multiple PC restarts and a Graphics Card Driver update, it suddenly asks to be restarted so it can update itself. WHY DIDN'T YOU ASK THAT IN THE FIRST PLACE, GOD. Then after some low effort shenanigans (I have Polaris Lance now, finally), my team bailed on me. I decided to try a Guided Game for the first time to run the Nightfall before bed. It took like... 30 minutes or so but then eventually matched me with a competent team that finished pretty easily.
Since Nightfalls are kind of stupid now, I think this is what they should (but will not) do for Forsaken in terms of Strike game design.
Vanguard Strikes: All the Strikes they are comfortable with being free, very low scaling so you can stomp them like a Patrol area. Bring back the ability to choose any Strike you've paid for from the map to play at will. Let players join matchmaking or not, forcing them into it is stupid, bad design. Allow Strike scoring to be turned on for funsies, it doesn't get you rewards at this level, it's just to see how fast you can clear it, that kind of thing.
Heroic Strikes: All the Strikes in the game, easy modifiers (remove the hardest ones, keep some low tier negative and all the good ones), at the Light Level you're meant to beat the story at.
Nightfall: Just over the Heroic Strike Light Level, all modifiers available. MATCHMAKING ENABLED, Christ. It's not a special snowflake of an activity, get over it.
Prestige Nightfall: Raid Light Level, actually thought out modifiers based on the Strike chosen, this is the one you can demand people bring a team to. Have the Aura reward give an XP boost like it used to in D1. Make it so that you get Powerful Rewards from both Nightfall and Prestige Nightfall no matter what order you do them in.
Strike Streak: Should be retained unless you do another activity, going to the Tower should not break your streak.
Strike Challenges: Make it so you can pick ones you like from Zavala from a list. If I want to be an Arcstrider today, I don't want one of my few challenges to be "you have to be Gunslinger today", that sucks. Rebalance the challenges, ones like the Flashbang or "precision shot from up close" are stupidly more difficult than "kill any 5 guys with a throwing knife." Make it so there are Challenges for both perk trees, it's really lazy design that nearly every challenge is just for one perk tree and the other one has nothing.
Make the game smart enough to also not send you on a repeat strike if you go to orbit in between so people can take a piss.
Write some new dialogue for the two Warmind Strikes. If they can re-record Ghost's dialogue for the entire game, they could do this. The strikes are fine to play but zero effort was put into making a strike "version" of the mission, which is a series first of laziness and a terrible precedent.
I was really hopin to get my buddies to come back for the Redrix grind. Would be the closest thing to halo 3 ranked grind weve done together. But sadly I cant get them on board.
Also, im sure had I actually had time to try to get to 50, i wouldve absolutely hated the grind by the end. But patrol destiny is somehow my favorite destiny. Its why I hated that they didnt have a Court of Oryx esque thing in D2. I love just chillin and shooting mans and progressing there of.

Better be a branching story path where I can side with Uldren. I'm not about to kill fam for finally shooting that annoying dickhead, might have a stern word with him for not doing it sooner but I'm certainly not about to kill him over it.

I was looking into CoO now that I have to buy it for Forsaken... and the season pass is on sale same price as the single expansion. But the solo expansion itself is not on sale, which means either way I'm dropping 20 on this unless I wait. I wish they hadn't made it possible to get Warmind separate at all if they were gonna pull this shit later.

I think it is an excellent punishment for everyone using Graviton Lance in the Crucible.
