and i will always encourage anyone hasn't played Shadow Complex to give the game a go. not without its problems, but still a great lil metroidvania. and Vermintide 2 being added on day one is a pretty good get.
I recommend Shadow Complex as well.
If you don't know anything about it, basic premise is that Nathan Drake is out hiking with his girlfriend when she gets kidnapped by Cobra Commander. To save her, Drake becomes Iron Man.
I agree with most of this, except it's actually Nathan's really boring cousin Bradley Drake. He's just a really dull character, like every person I've ever met named Brad.
You have obviously never met Brad Chicken heart vickers true hero of the resident evil seires.
I guess you could argue Nate is boring in Uncharted 1. 2-4 did a lot to flesh him out, though.
Uncharted 2 is the one I spent the most time with (seeing how I own a PS3). He was definitely still boring in that one, the world around him is just much more interesting.

oh shirt I love the Dirt games but haven't played 4 yet.
Bethesda have been pretty supportive of a lot of what MS have been doing these last few years. they jumped in on backwards compatibility right at the start and they partnered pretty well on getting mods on consoles while Sony stumbled on the issue.

the nubs on my first Xbox designlab controller sticks cracked the other day. First time it ever happened for any system I've owned (the 360 sticks would wear down but they never had the little grip condom on them it was all one piece).
I think I can get replacements at GameStop, right? Or do I wait until they offer to screenprint images on controllers and opt for a classy Paddington controller.

Glue sandpaper cutouts to the sticks. It's the only way you know your thumbs will never slip off.

While I agree that being insensitive is an issue, so is being oversensitive.
I mean it sounds like they're approaching it as safely as possible, but still hope devs are paying attention
The nice thing is that API detection stuff so people using XIM are shit outta luck
I love the fact that they are providing the opportunity to separate KBAM and controllers players. I've been wanting this options for a looooooooong time.

Honestly, I liked the anime anthology Halo Legends, the various live-action miniseries, and in particular Forward Unto Dawn. It's hard to imagine I won't at least enjoy this--but I don't have much experience with Showtime either.
I think Showtime at least means the series will have a decent budget. Hopefully it'll be available for digital purchase on Amazon or something, because I'm not subscribing to Showtime or whatever streaming service Showtime has just for one show, though =/

Amazon usually gets shows like that you can just buy the season of. Dunno about premium network shows though.
I would like some money because these are artisanal nuggets of wisdom philistine.

Yeah, that's how I was watching The Walking Dead and Better Call Saul. I'm hoping it works with Showtime/HBO stuff because I'm going to be in a pickle when the last season of GoT rolls out if it doesn't...
I will subscribe to HBO for one show if I have too...

Most of the major cable channels offer trial/subs over single buy for serials until end of season now on Amazon. Speaking of which, guess Ill check to see if/when I can buy Discovery now.

I'm really glad we're getting a TV series (even just one season) rather than a film.
I'm kind of over the attempts to make stuff like this into a film. I'm rarely impressed because they leave out so much shit that I wish they had put in. With a series, they are afforded hours and hours of time instead of just 2, in which you know damn well they will throw in at least 1 hour of character development instead of some kick ass action.
Looking forward to seeing how they do the Flood.

As of this writing, developers have to set up their own systems and services to bring mods to Xbox One. Halo 5 Forge, Fallout 4, and Skyrim Special Edition are a few prominent games that have their own modding systems, built by their respective studios. Devs, of course, will continue to be able to do that if they so choose, but Microsoft is setting up a system that would not only provide much of the infrastructure required to set up these features but also surface mods directly in a new section in the Xbox Store, similar to the Steam Workshop, to make them easier to discover.
