I've recently been ghosted on an internet forum. Can you help?
Sounds like a standard sweep and clean. And now let's talk seriously. Now, for the entrapment, we're gonna have to ask you for four big ones, $4,000 for that, but we are having a special this week on proton charging and storage of the beast, and that's only going to come to $1,000, fortunately.
Why do you always have a special on proton charging?

Funko's just have really shitty eyes that ruin the whole aesthetic (outside of a few where they go with a more traditional face).
They're up there with the minions in the category of "Minor annoyances that have unbelievably became popular." wherein the amount of angst generated by a subject is magnified greatly due to the popularity, and more important, ubiquitousness of the subject.

What can you do for me if I ghosted someone but they ended up top of the page instead if me?
Let me put you in touch with one of our technical contractors. He specializes in equipment to assist. His name is Doctor Emmett Brown. He can be reached by phone five minutes ago or from now.

Because we are basically con men with advanced science degrees.
I think what irritates me about Funko Pops is that if you name a character or property, I already know exactly what that character looks like as a Funko Pop. Part of the craft of fanart is matching the style of the original work, and it's a sign of genuine skill as an artist to be able to match multiple disparate styles. Funko Pops are exactly the opposite of that: they flatten the entire universe of popular culture into a single, unimpressive, mass-produced bilge.
My favorite musical instrument is the air-raid siren.
I have a bunch of Disney princesses, the alien queen, {now a Disney queen} Sara Ryder with/out helm it was a freebee at gamestop if I bought two others. Sylvanas {this basically is my argument about how Blizzard has taken characters with paper thin backstory and the problem of what people think of that character and what blizzard thinks of it. It's Garrosh all over again}
The monster hunter ones D va and Rein from overwatch, Catwoman and the Phantasm from the noir batman cartoon and the ones from the witcher
I just have random ones that I found interesting or liked
Tbh if it wasn't for this forum I don't think I would see funko pops but more than once a year. It's like people actively seek out this thing that annoys them here.
I dunno, personally I think they are very ugly and don't like the aesthetic. But I am sure there are people that think the walking cathedral I'm building for 40k looks dumb as heck too. It's really no skin off my back.

Most Funko Pops are fine and the critiques about them are overblown
But all the edgy ones that have like blood on them or it's Laura Palmer's corpse or whatever make me roll my eyes pretty hard
I have a bunch of them that all look different but they're boxed up for now. They freak people out sometimes. People seem more freaked out by them than all the taxidermied stuff and skulls and weird shit in jars that I have.

I'm just bummed that they are absolutely the only remnant of our species that survive for the aliens of the future to discover on a cold husk of a dead earth.
Funko pops are one of the avenues Gamestop is using to replace revenue lost due to game sales going digital, so all of them have at the very least a section dedicated to them if not an entire wall. Comic book stores also generally have a large section for similar reasons.

Makes me wonder how, if we could reach back in time and talk to ancient peoples, how many of their things that we attribute great religious or cultural significance to, would wind up just being fads and pop culture.
I don't mind the pops that are actually a bit individual. We've got a K-2SO from Rogue One, and a Niffler from Fantastic Beasts, because they at least have different shaped bodies.
I can't see myself ever buying one that is the same as a million others except for the paint.

I share a studio apartment with another human being, so the idea of owning A Piece of Plastic with No Discernible Function is, frankly, difficult to imagine

I need to grab a couple DETOLF display cases for Gunpla anyway, especially since I have a cat that likes knocking shit over
There are a couple Nendoroid I'd really like to get though

I mean, aesthetics are a thing, and the space a few things take up is relatively negligible if you tuck them in empty gaps in existing units like TV set ups.
Though everyone involved needs to enjoy/tolerate the aesthetics.

That is all. I don’t like the human looking ones.

Make me a featureless Funko coated in vantablack

They’re for consuming the souls of children who don’t eat their vegetables.

I thought that was Elf on the Shelf's job?
It sits there in my closet mocking me for doing so
No, they eat children who don't go to bed on time. I can see how you got them mixed up, though.
