As another Oregonian I’ve been loving the last two weeks. Glorious rain. Still warmer than usual for the season though. We’ve usually had our first frost by now.
You're just jealous the highest points in Florida are the landfills.
The highpoints are the bridges, don't be silly. My GF was born and raised in Florida and they've got one hill somewhere in the state that they're very proud of, I haven't seen it yet.

I'm glad its hitting the East Coast first and weakening a little bit before getting over here again, but there is still a lot of debris from Ian in Fort Myers so even heavy rain and winds is going to spread that shit all over again and I don't know how well drains are cleared in some areas.
I went to a brewery Point Ybel that's closer to Fort Myers Beach and there is still so many branches in front of all the houses and that stuff is going to get throw around a lot even if it is just a tropical storm at the time.
I am terrible with time conversions but it looks like it should be mostly over by morning at least
e: for norcal and central california, LA area will still be getting inundated

It's November and still in the high 60's to mid 70's Fahrenheit here and while that's kind of actually very comfortable it's also like hahahaha we're in danger!

We almost hit 85° F yesterday. This is not normal*.
*by some definition of an old normal, not a possible new one...
A few of my coworkers in central florida got flooded because of how much rain Ian dropped. Nicole is only forecast to drop half as much rain, but the ground's already saturated, so we might still see flooding there.
Gentlebeings, it's looking like it's about to get colder than normal in North America for the next little while. May you hold your tuques tight and your heat sources tighter.

There'll be isolated thunderstorms for a while.

Uh... everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here now, thank you. How are you?
It's because on election day, of all days, they realize that really it should all be burned down.
So you're getting tomorrow what Nebraska is getting today.
These temperature whiplash days are letting me know how old my joints are, I tell ya...

Huh. In fact, we didn't end up getting any snow out of this storm, so good job on the accidental prophecy?
