What kind of software do you use when creating content for a tabletop RPG? Have a neat tool or technique for making maps, planning encounters or whatnot? Post em here!
Given the increase in visibility for D&D in the last few years, and possibly some other RPGs along with it, have there been new DM tools hitting the market as well? If you've tried any I'd like to hear it. Especially if they are step up from the oldies like Campaign Cartographer.
This thread isn't specifically about virtual tabletop programs but if they have any built-in content creation tools that would be interesting as well.
