His entire arc in the story is about learning to be a better person and have a better personality for heroing because - as a number of people in his life point out - he is incredibly talented but heroes have a higher standard of behavior they have to follow.
Future arc spoilers:
Him being a piece a shit actually sets him back majorly compared to the rest of his class and he is making earnest attempts to be better about it...and often failing.
Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.

Also do they ever say what happened to his dad? I assume it's something mundane because they just haven't mentioned him at all. He's just present in the earliest flashbacks. Had to get rid of to make room for All Dad.
They mention he has some sort of fire breathing quirk and that's about it, it's that dumb trope of a parent/parents working overseas.
If you want a good juicy conspiracy theory try and remember if you've ever seen the doctor who examined Deku as a kid anywhere else.
I can guarantee that I will not remember because my brain just registers him as generic anime face on top of a lab coat.

I really like that the chapter where Bakugo fully realizes that he isn't hot shit when there's people like Todoroki and Yaoyorozu around is called "Bakugo's Starting Line". I like the comparison with the episode where Izuku realizes that his new power is nowhere near an easy road to the top.

Still, it could say more about High-End or All Might, considering Endeavour's results counted for more than everybody else's popularity and results.

the more practical reason I don't think they'll do a jojo fighting game is that while jojo has a very committed fanbase, it doesn't have that MHA heat
DBZ, however, was and is insanely popular across multiple countries and was also enjoying a very popular new season; the jojo anime and manga are still going strong but they're not carrying the same popularity and profitability of MHA
You'd just do it like dbfz, pack the moveset with lots of direct references to things the characters have done, and give everyone supers that directly evoke their big awesome moments
Hell the old Jojo game let you play as Mariah, the lady that fights with a power outlet
