Make a Persona except instead of having Personas your Very Special Player Character has a quirk that allows them to learn how to use, less effective, versions of others quirks and choose pro heroes to "major" in to learn their skills while also building Social Links with your classmates
Bonus: your quirk could appropriately be named All For All
One thing I really like about Mei is that her Quirk is just the ability to zoom her vision in on something really far. So her engineering creations are all made with her own skill and imagination.
Mei is my favorite bit character. Even if she comes on super strong in the sales pitch.
Also, color me weird but I liked Bakugo from nearly the start. I thought he was a shithead, but I was wanting to see him learn how to at least move toward his goal.
Current anime-arc spoilers
Seeing him verbally school the League of Villains was just the best thing. And that they were scared of him for a bit there. But I'm also a sucker for series/characters that show that people can still do good without always being nice.
I always hold off as long as I can, but not knowing what comes next when I could just read it anytime eats at me. I burned through everything after the anime last weekend as a result.

big bad has a transmutation quirk called One for One.
So how do y’all feel about “reading ahead” and being in front of the show in the manga
I kinda want to do it, but I feel like it would ruin the impact the show has for me, since it’s such a literal adaptation
I'm current on the manga, and I haven't really felt like the impact of the anime was lessened-- if anything, I was more hyped up because I wanted them to get it right (and they did, eps 23, 42, and 49 are great). A lot of that is because the soundtrack and voice acting for Hero Academia is excellent.

For me, I'm excited to watch the show to see what happens
like I was pretty hyped to see All-Might and All For One face off
it would probably lessen my enjoyment of the show to change my expectations from "what's going to happen when All-Might and All For One fight" to "how does the All-Might and All For One fight, that I already know what happens in, look animated"
Can we just talk about how despite every other hero staying out of all mights way incase they hinder him, Gran Turnio was willing to catch All Might and help him out. It got him punched in the face for his troubles, but he takes and All Might punch to the face, at 70-80 years old (I’m guessing) and survives.

One thing I really appreciate about the story is the mix of high and low stakes that are important to the characters that add a high level of unpredictability.
Like, if Midoriya is in a situation where he either wins the fight or dies, you know he’s gonna win, it’s just a matter of how.
But there are a lot of times where Deku’s story won’t end if he loses, like in the tourney arc, and you just have no idea how things will turn out as it progresses.
Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.

Dude is awsome.
well the punch was shock inverted so most of the force went back towards all might

Not to diminish Gran Torino's awesomeness, but it's likely that considerably less than all of that punch's force actually hit him. AFO was triggering a quirk called shock inversion, meant to turn the force of the punch right back at All Might.

Froppy, Creati, Tokoyami and my favorite main characters and Mei is my favorite secondary. Even though Creati is such a copout name but I like the power.
I like how to further drive home how overpowered All Might and All For One are, AFO rags on All Might by saying he has clearly gotten weaker because it took him 30 seconds to take on the Nomus and cover the 5km distance
(also the previous scenes are so much longer than 30 seconds)
Far as I know, one of my favorite characters hasn't even shown up in the anime yet.
Mirio is fucking awesome and I will knife fight every one of you for this.
Is Mirio Bethesda Boy?
Anyway, I can't pick just one fave so I'm saying Froppy, Deku and Earphone Jack are the best.
if I extend my sample size, my fave Students are all of them except for Mineta and copy guy from class B. those two are the worst.
Yes, Mirio is the guy with the noclip quirk. But he's awesome enough that he deserves using his actual name.
I just love that
he was clearly set up as a kind of rival, someone for Deku to feel bad because he "shouldn't" have received OfA, to make Deku have to face himself and have this big dramatic thing realizing his own worth... and then it turns out that Mirio is super cool with the whole thing, he's in fact a total bro, and there's no need for any of that stuff, he's good with his own quirk thank you, and remains such wthout it.
If you don't like Barbarian King Bakugo we're fighting now.

Lemillion. And his holding out while depowered is one of the most awesome scenes in the manga.

Oh yeah, All Might only has a small fraction of OFA's power, and AFO is half-dead at this point.

A lot of people compare MHA to Naruto, and while the similarities are there, MHA has MUCH better characters. Bakugou is a great example of this. Bakugou is likable because he's bombastic (heh), and his asshole tendencies are treated as such. Sasuke, by contrast, is completely insufferable and is treated with such deference as to be unsatisfying.
That was preeeetty rad. Looking forward to watching more!

All might’s “solution” to the Nomu is fucking hilarious and 100% indicative of his character. I love it.

i found it funny that (ep 49 spoilers i guess)
AfO's plan to kill All MIght was just to punch him really hard. The line of dialogue is even translated as like "I'm going to kill you. . . with this punch!". Where's the clever plan like using a warp gate to bisect him? C'mon bruh

Mt. Lady seems to be a pretty big magnet for skeeviness but that’s the only really gross stuff I’ve seen so far

edit: I'd actually guess it's uraraka or tsu or maybe bakugo.

It's a known stereotype that old people are tiny. And apparently it's not as ridiculous as you'd think:

It is very good all around
