Prohass - build the dojo key and I can show you around the different labs we have the next time we're both on.
One other small thing about Prime Warframes: they have a passive ability where if you kill an death orb in a Void tileset mission, you'll get 200 power for your frame when it explodes.
Unless it's changed, you don't have to kill the death orb. Just walk up to it and touch it while using a prime frame to get your energy.
This could very well be my tendency to murdering everything I see shining through!
you don't even need to touch it, getting within a few feet triggers the buff.
And yet another 75% discount ticket fell my way today as I came back home. Apparently DE's algorithm has decided I'm an easily tempted whale.
Still, during these days I made sure to keep the foundry going via phone, so I came back to fully built Equinox, Hydroid Prime, and Limbo Prime. So that's nice.
Thanks again @Ianator for the void runs last night. Got some loot, had fun, and afterwards I watched Youtube videos and adjusted my sound settings so I know what rare cache noises are now.
I've yet to ever get a 75% off coupon, though I also have a ludicrous amount of plat after they accidentally priced that Hydroid Prime pack at eight dollars for like an hour.
I've heard mixed information on how good/bad fulmination is on Pox. Has anyone tried it and seen the difference?
I use Fulmination, and just to check myself I did an A-B comparison test in the Simulacrum. Without Fulmination, I can't consistently hit all 8 mobs at the back of the map. With Fulmination, I don't need to be terribly accurate to do so.
25% extra range isn't the biggest dealbreaker in the world, and I can easily see swapping it out for something with more punch, but I like it to help generate hallway-wide hazard zones for the mobs to walk through.

So I just hit Jupiter last night. My rhino finished this morning and I have oberon and nyx a couple days out. I also have frost ready to go and almost mag, but the most limiting factor I have right now are credits to keep paying to craft things and buying blueprints. What are some good ways to quickly generate some currency at this point?

Dark sectors and extract at the first opportunity. Or just have someone taxi you into the Index.

If you're only at Jupiter, your best credit hose is probably single-rotation runs on the dark sectors you can access. Once you have access to The Index (and a loadout fit to run it), to my knowledge that becomes the most efficient means.

Nah, those are void fissures. Dark sectors are the things on the starmap with lotus emblems instead of regular diamonds. There should be two per planet. Logging in to make sure my description is accurate.

Dark Sectors are just things you run. They have slightly higher difficulty rating, slightly different reward scheme but some have tip top rewards. The dark sector missions on Ceres give a lot of credits for their difficulty level (5 minute Seimeni runs is probably the best location for fast and easy credits) and Hieracon is one of the best relic-farming sites (to GET relics, not to use them).
Relic runs are done on special alert missions. Take a look at the Star Chart.
In the upper right corner you can see several symbols. From Left to right they're: Quests (Or maybe events?), Alerts (triangle), Invasions (fist), Syndicate missions (Wheel-thingie), Relics (Flame-thingie) and Sorties.
If a symbol isn't there then there are no such missions available to you atm. Usually because you haven't unlocked that node/content yet.

dark sectors are most of the nodes at the end of dead end branches of the star map, they're all endless mission types vs. infested with some affinity and credit bonuses listed in the mission description popup.

OH, okay. I thought those with the bonuses were pretty cool. Good to know!
Also, I'm not missing some subtle hint from the alert screen when I think I'm going in to a normal mission and it turns out it's a "nightmare" one? I jumped in to one the other night and had a rough go of things when I realized I had no shields.
the alert list doesn't do a good job of highlighting when alerts are nightmare alerts, no. If you see an alert for a mod, check the actual node on the starmap before starting the mission because the nightmare alerts always give a rare mod and are always the no-shields type of nightmare mode.
Had a Credit Booster for Login reward and proceeded to run some Index the first time (outside of the Nidus quest). Made few million credits, but holy smokes does the Index suck. And what's up with all the Rhinos that just horde the index-bits? Looking at the wiki, I couldn't discern an explanation for the hoarding, but I assumed there must be a good reason.
You get bonus points the more you have on you at a time. Though frequently people will hold them far in excess of what we need because people really suck at math.
Also Tenno scoring points adds to the timer, while Corpus scoring points subtracts from it. Once you get a big enough lead it can be faster to just stop playing and let the Corpus score a few times to run the clock out.

If you already had the point threshold to win, it could also be they were hoarding because plonking points in extends the timer.

the way the index works when I play it is the match immediately goes to the "cash out or continue" dialogue when it passes 100 points regardless of time left on the timer

Geez Archwing combat is still a bag of shit as ever. When I press back on the keyboard but keep shooting forward with the right mouse button held down that means I want to strafe back and shoot forward, not turn and shoot the camera. Can't hit anything unless I sit still and get shot.
There's an "experimental controls" option, are you using that? Because that lets you control properly.
Thiiiiisssss. I mention it in the OP precisely because Archwing is total shit without that option on. I have no idea why it isn't the default.
Man, the Lua Spy mission is something else. It's like someone mixed AssCreed with Super Meatboy except you only get one life.
People suggested me to use Limbo there, and it works wonders. Limbo is immune to lasers while rifted, so you can literally just walk through the spy rooms.
so wait stuff your building in the foundry does that only build while youre in-game?
No and not only that but you can use the android (and I assume ios) app to access your foundry whenever! Start building stuff, collect extractors, and collect stuff from your foundry.
Finished the War Within last night. What a great quest! I was leveling Broken War, so it felt super appropriate when that was the only weapon available. I'm really glad I upgraded the mods on it before starting the quest, though.
I'm super stoked that I'll be able to more actively participate in Eidolon hunts now.

That's awesome. I'm wondering how many I went through before I was thinking about it. The one I got several months ago I was happy to use, but I haven't seen one since (day 130 or so).
Honestly I would kinda want to spend it in cosmetics but all the cool skins and most of the cool syandanas are bought with steambux, not plat, so what would be the point.
I started playing this a few days ago. Slowly getting some idea of what I'm doing beyond just stabbing things and running over any drops that look interesting. For instance, I built a drone that now sucks in any drops nearby that look interesting.

yeah, you no longer need to let the clock run out with the correct amount of points to win
also it is publicly matchmade now too, and you don't need to do the glast gambit to unlock it either
