there has to be a way to get Mike Conley on the All-Star team this year

    Curry,
    Dame,
    Westbrook,
    Harden,
    CP3,
    Klay Thompson.

He's gotta make it over at least two of those guys (not to mention Demar Derozan, or even Derrick Rose [puke] for example). Who do you trade him out for?

  • XehalusXehalus Registered User regular
the West can have 7 guards, Lebron, Durant, and whoever else makes it

  • simosimo Registered User regular
i'd absolutely take him over klay, who is having his worst shooting year as a pro and has been shockingly bad by most advanced and/or on-off metrics (279th in real plus minus, -8.6 on-off net rating)

That was an amazing game, but doing it 4-7 times in a row is going to give me ulcers, especially with a healthy Curry

Pretty sure the problem with that franchise is higher up on the ladder.

Luka Doncic had an amazing run in the last three minutes of the game against the Rockets.

OK this is definitely a joke among these guys at this point. Maybe somebody made a bet and that's where it started with Kyrie, maybe they're trying to make fun of the way the media handles athletes, I don't know. I just know I'm not taking that shit seriously.

Watching reactions to the Kings around here has been fun this season.

Also goddamn, you're making bank betting on king's to beat the spread this year. They've only been favorites in like 4 games.

man that felt good. I saw a lot of asterisks on their first game, Raps had home court advantage, the Warriors were without Curry and Green, and Toronto barely won in overtime.

This time though? Golden State was healthy, at home, the Raptors had just played the Clippers the night before, and Kawhi was out with a sore hip.

Fun fact: this was Toronto's first win in Oakland in 14 years.

  • XehalusXehalus Registered User regular
the Warriors motion offense can be outplayed and lead to a lot of turnovers

though you would be exhausted after 7 games I think

  • Captain InertiaCaptain Inertia Registered User regular
After Kawhi, the Raptors have 17 more 4’ long sentient arms to sub in to switch and disrupt. I feel like they can make it through a long series just fine, and now that LeBron isn’t in their way, they may just get to play in a game 5 6 or 7!!!

I'm not prepared to put a fork in the Warriors any time soon. There is just too damn much talent on that roster to not consider them a Finals Champion favorite so long as Durant is healthy and Curry is 80% or better.

I cannot wait until Ben Simmons is off this team. It’s so frustrating watching someone disappear for 20 minutes at a time.

Butler trade destroyed depth and they just fucking suck.

Yeah but that's just because the Hornets were a game over .500. If we were under .500 then LeBron would have been humiliated. That's just how the Hornets work this year.
