Ok so contracts are 3 tasks in a row, with each one being harder then the one before, and Ben died on the first one because IGN level skills on display.
Also just listening to his shotgun here looks like the alpha complaints were taken to heart, it sounded meatier.
Also lightning strikes from the weather can shock you!

Ha had to pause the video but yes he got gear that upped his ultimate damage and like speed of it. So there is armor to upgrade your ultimate. Don't know if it'll change it from its base but there is augments for it!

That was kind of a shitshow, but it looked really fun
Thinking I might just play on Normal while leveling. It looks like higher difficulty fights are a bit damage spongey. Save that for max level when you get better weapons and stuff

To be fair, like ObiFett mentioned, I don't think I saw a single combo being triggered in those fights, so part of the sponginess was coming from not doing nearly as much damage as they probably could have been.

Yeah synergy wasn't there, or at least we didn't see it popping from the ranger perspective. Also like he'd pop his weapon damage buff off and no one would be around.
But I liked those end screeens, especially the loot one sorted from top end to greens.

Yeah I do like how in the Division I can see not only what peoples skills are, but when they are on cooldown. Gives me a nice battlefield general look at how good or screwed we are.

Just thinking about the interceptor super that gives invulnerablity seems important to know if they have it available or not if there are support abilities
I believe I read that all of the ultimates trigger invulnerability. It started with the Interceptor, as a manner of survival and because they innately have to be in the thick of things while using melee attacks, but realized that being knocked out while activating ultimate abilities would be pretty shitty on any of them.
I never played it, but comparisons were made to Destiny, where apparently that's a thing?
Hopefully it goes through, if I'm in the middle of lighting up a crowd with an "Iron Man at the end of The Avengers" style spread of missiles, getting downed while doing it would not endear me to using the ability. Especially since some of them seem to kind of lock you in place. Losing maneuverability often means death in engagements where it's serious enough to warrant bringing out the heavier firepower anyways.
First they came for the Muslims, and we said NOT TODAY, MOTHERFUCKER!
Destiny does not give you immunity during supers. Like in PVP that's specifically a thing to do to someone supering is to kill them or hit them with something that takes away their super.
But yeah if every javelin's super makes you immune fucking awesome, if I'm bringing the thunder I don't want to get toe tagged and f it up.

Yeah Ultimate's do two things beyond the actual ability, Invulnerability and a Full Heal. Both allow them to make sure that the Javs can make big flashy moves for the Ultimate Animations without getting plastered on the walls both during and immediately after. Getting shot down right after coming out of the Ult would be just as shitty a feeling as during.
That is also another reason for the timed nature once activated, to avoid abuse.

One thing that's making me get a really good vibe about this game is how much of it BioWare want's to show off. Companies don't tend to want to spend three months before release dishing all the details and showing in depth game play content if they aren't relatively confident they have something fun on their hands. Still a lot to be answered about the end game and how the story comes together, but I'm getting a much better feeling than I did before the original Destiny came out, where Bungie was barely showing anything beyond the beta level we all played.

That's one thing I liked hearing the open world has a day night cycle and weather patterns. I recall that when its raining is you can fly longer.

Ooh neat info: Masterwork and Legendary items get mailed to you even if you don't pick them up. Lower tiers do not
Thats scary

I liked how Emily did a dab too because why not.
I do say these streams the devs seem to be having a good time, which is marketing, but still.

They are playing on hard ok... It definitely looks like with these mobs even on a "task" you have to be playing with your brain on.
Also for your KBAM folks heres your stream.
