Anyway I played a bit of that MHGU demo they released yesterday
It's Monster Hunter on the Switch, runs well, looks pretty decent
It's obviously not gonna satisfy folks that really like how World did things, because it's definitely 'old' Monster Hunter, with all that entails
but I dig it.
Yeah, it's a bit hard not having the auto-sheath when you hit R to run and there not being the radial item wheel nor the mantles, but it is certainly a Monster Hunter.
The Hunter Artes are pretty fun though. It is very satisfying to use the CB's Energy Blade to slash a monster in the face, just a massive lightsaber growing out of your axe.

Yeah, I also think it looks pretty sharp! Like it’s obviously still PS2-era ish, but there’s a lot of nice details there that were a lot muddier on the 3DS.
It’s no MHW, but it looks alright.

It's still a very popular game and I assume there's enough people who'd like it on the go on a bigger screen than the 3DS to make it worthwhile.
Not every game has to be a multimillion dollar seller to be worthwhile

He's lol'ing about the release date. It was supposed to be 2017, then 2018. Now a nebulous 2019.

Although a funnier thing to do would be to spend all 15 points on the lowest tier and see what havoc you've wrought upon the Smash roster.
yeah even if Travis did get in I'd be like "another one?"
the only one I'd make an exception for is maybe Crono, who would at least shoot lightning
But for god's sake stop giving everyone down b counters.

It bugs me, a lot, the characters aren't in OCTOPATH order
